Super Kid Bros. 3 is a fun and short adventure, encapsulated by Seph's classic game style of retro graphics and a mixture of simple gimmicks and traps. There are five levels and two bosses, each with their own interesting style. Nothing ever gets too complicated gimmick-wise but it was always enough to keep me interested.

Games that use this kind of visual style always run the risk of being too visually noisy and distracting, but it pulled it off very well by always having a nice contrast between backgrounds and tiles, and everything just sort of fit together nicely.

Overall, not too long of a game with a sweet amount of variety sprinkled throughout. Definitely worth your time.

Was looking for a fun quick little game to fill in a time gap and this one nailed it. Difficulty is quite moderate and sections are a good enough length to flesh out its concepts and the gimmicks are simple enough that you don't have to learn much but interesting enough that it impacts the platforming.

All in all, a short and well designed little adventure.

Very fun adventure. The stage select screen is based on Super Mario Bros 3 (Hence the name), but each stage is themed on a different game. This is also one of the very rare fangames where the white spikes actually fit with the tilesets, and it looks quite good. I felt a bit of repetitiveness near the end, as if all the stages followed the same line of focusing on tricky jumps with something new here and there, but I enjoyed it anyway.
The bosses are quite well-made, and I like the intros. They felt a bit annoying while you're figuring out their first attacks, but once you understand how they work, the fights become really enjoyable.
It's well-made, it's enjoyable, and while the stages repeat themselves, it's still not boring. It's like playing a needle game shaped like an adventure game. Would recommend.

Playing this game always brings back memories of my childhood days spent with the NES. Each level is meticulously crafted, paying homage to a different classic game, and the integration is seamless. The only downside for me is the abrupt ending of the game; there’s not even a save point after defeating the final boss. Recommend it!
