One of my favorite platformer games of all time, this is the game that pulled me in and made me want to play as the Kid for the first time. I was not disappointed.
The medley composition of stages 1-6 includes incredible screen picks and enjoyable bosses, all set to a fairly smooth difficulty curve that keeps things from getting dull. K2's boss rush is not overdone, and from the Big Kid chase through the end of the final boss is a thrilling experience that I would hate for anyone to miss out on.
Kamilia 2 will be a challenge for players new to IWBTG fangames but it's well worth it. At the end of the day, this game is a masterpiece that should be played by all who have a taste for difficult games, and I can't recommend it more.

definitely not the best medley game, but most likely not the worst
level design can get very cheap and the screens are rather unbalanced

FINALLY CLEARED AFTER ALMOST 5 YEARS OF STRUGGLING! Now that it's done, time to change my review. Spoilers ahead.
I wanna Kill the Kamilia 2 is the second game of the trilogy. Like the other two games, it's a medley. You have to clear stages from other fangames with their bosses included, usually in some kind of mix (For example the first boss stage has a bunch of bosses from Stage 1, each from their own fangame respectively). This goes on to Stage 6, where it becomes a boss rush with four bosses. The difficulty of these stages rises as you progress with their bosses included.
In my opinion, Stage 4 is where the difficulty raises dramatically. Expect to be stuck at Geezer for a while. The avoidance is probably what makes this boss so infuriating, since the cherries move really fast combined with some unlucky RNG. The Metroid segment of the boss was rather fun to learn since you have to survive for 50 seconds while all sorts of projectiles launch at you combined with the Kid Head from IWBTExplorer's bullets and the rising lava. Took me 4-5 hours in total.
The game really wants you to stop playing around Stage 5 and 6. Let's start with Solgryn. It plays similar to the fight in IWBTBoshy, but with boss apparances from other fangames. Phase 1 has to be my favorite part of the fight since it has a lot of tension and it isn't too hard. Now phase 2 is just terrible. Why? Avoidance. Aoi Kiseki from IWBTLocus makes an appearance here, and it mostly relies on luck and skill. The first part can be tedious to learn, but you will get the hang of it real quick, but you have to be really lucky when you have to jump up the platforms. Now here's the real deal: The latter two attacks. Big cherries move up and down and eventually explode and you either have to dodge these by following the pattern or skill. I did it the hard way since I couldn't learn the pattern. After that you land on the Gradius spaceship and the fight plays very similar to Boshy. No new boss apperances here. I used an oversight here where you can move up or down right when you enter the spaceship and dodge the giant projectile Solgryn shoots at you. For some reason it doesn't disappear when it goes offscreen, so you can shoot him forever until you eventually kill him. In total this took me like 6 hours or something.
Stage 6 has some really hard screen choices. Depending on how long this will take for you, these screens will be either really easy (GR, Sadist) or just plain tedious (Catastrophe, Destination) based on my experience.
After you beat the last screen (LoveTrap), you will make it to the boss rush. You have to beat the four final bosses from four different games from Stage 6 which are: Destination, Crimson, Breaking Out and Popularity.
Crimson was rather easy for me. While it took me longer to beat in Kamilia 2 than in Crimson (due to me beating this version much earlier than in Crimson) it is slightly nerfed. This counts for the other three bosses too.
Destination can either be something you beat real quick or is just a chore. I already knew what to do here and in Crimson, since i've beaten both of them in Kamilia 2 years ago because I was curious to see what boss rush was all about back then.
Nue Houjuu has to be my favorite boss to learn out of the four. It has far less attacks in Kamilia 2 than in Breaking Out because Influka didn't know how to make some of them. You have to shoot her while dodging all the different projectiles that float around the screen.
Lastly, there's Gravity Man. First of all, I want to say that this boss is just not fun. It's tedious, luck and skill based and I wish this one wasn't in boss rush. It's really unique compared to the others though, since it's one of the only instances in the game where you have reverse gravity. I don't feel like explaining this one. Just watch it for yourself.
After you beat the four bosses, a fifth boss appears. It's Big Kid from LoveTrap. Don't worry, it's not the impossible version. I really liked this boss for what it is. It's simple to learn but still an challenge for most players. After you beat him, an gateway opens to the left and you run out of the building when suddenly he tries to chase you. It's a long and tedious phase of the boss. Atleast it saves when you get there. It's an not too hard long needle segment where it is easy to make mistakes and if you touch him once you die instantly. There are some traps here and there and at the end you need to jump through two 16px gaps. This probably took me the most time to beat, clocking in at around 6 hours(?) and around an week of trying over and over. The stage finally ends once you get past the two 16px gaps.
The only stage you have left right now is the M-Stage. It is a needle stage combined with a bunch of traps, reverse gravity, jump refreshers and speed blocks. This stage has a bunch of skips. For example, if you press F2 while being upside down, you will save that gravity state when you open the game and you will go back to that save which is pretty handy. If you die, don't press R but F2 instead. It will reset your gravity when you do. An rather easy stage in my opinion.
Now that you got past all of this, you finally make it to the final boss of the game: Kamilia. She has four phases, and an save when you make it to the second phase. The first phase is just luck and memory. She starts off with an introduction where all five souls of the 6 stages you went through. After a while you have to dodge the attacks of these five souls, which happen in a random order. The Guy is mixed with the bosses from the first stage for some reason. There's also attacks from Geezer, Solgryn, Influka and boss rush. When you finally survive these five, the game will do an last troll attack if you stand in the middle and then it will save. Time for phase 2. My god is this phase tedious and stupid. It's so luck based, and just stupid. This will take you a couple of hours until you get to the next phase. Phase 3 is just memorization. She has an timer which counts down from 100 to 0. She will do three attacks which the next one triggers after you survived a certain amount of time. When it reaches 0 it's time for the last phase. She disappears and a giant face appears which you need to shoot while dodging a bunch of random attacks. These attacks are very hard, but some are memory based while other ones require a bit of luck. She has a lot of HP here, so draining her health bar will take a while.
When you finally do make it, it is over. Congrats, you've beaten the game! Sit back and enjoy the credits while you will be happy in glee. After the credits is done you arrive at the stage select, where there are a bunch of portals and an extra stage which is not actually in the game. (You've gotta download Kamilia 2 Extra Stage for that. Trust me, it's not easy.)
It's definitely a game you should check out, even if you are not good at it. If you have a bit of determination you will eventually beat whatever you are stuck on.

My favourite medley game. The game starts out really easy and gets really challenging in the end. The platforming is not pure needle, it has a bunch of gimmicks and traps. And as for the bosses, they are always fair and fun to learn. I recommend this game to everyone, honesltly, just play it.
