I have mixed feelings about this one. Mostly bad ones. I loved how it takes its title seriously, all the stages at the beginning give a really bloody feeling...Then the last stage really disappointed me, it doesn't make any sense at all. It just doesn't fit in the game. I also liked how the first 6 secrets are placed at fair places, you don't have to do anything ridiculous to get them (Rainbow Miku comes to the mind)...Then the two last secrets just had to ruin everything. Both are at places that shouldn't even have secrets, and you probably need to understand japanese to get through one of them (Or maybe it just doesn't make any sense anyway).
This game also has one of the most absurd Mikus I've ever seen. The first minute is a tedious sequence of easy pattern attacks whose only purpose is just to make you bored. Then, the second minute comes. It's a RNG storm of luck-based attacks, so if you're not lucky, get ready to die a lot. The third minute is a storm of pattern attacks. So, it works basically like this: First minute makes you bored. The second minute makes you even more bored, but you can't get bored, because good RNG means dodgeable RNG, not easy RNG, so you will still need concentration to dodge the attacks. Then you get unlucky at some point, and die again. And when you get past the second minute...Each pattern attack of the third minute will be there to kill you at least once. And you'll have to do it all over again. Without getting bored, otherwise you won't get anywhere. Good luck with that. I liked the music, but that's digging slightly too deep to find something good about the avoidance.
The level design ranges from good to bad, some saves are enjoyable (Loved the secret of the vine stage), and some are not (Conveyor Belts. Ugh). Some traps are just unnecessary, but some are well-placed.
The extra includes a boss rush with hard versions of the six first bosses, the disappointing last stage, and the last boss, which isn't bad for the most part (Her third attack is just terrible, though. Luck-based, too fast and with an annoying hitbox). Nothing really worth getting the secrets for, probably.
Overall, it's a game with ups and downs. Most of these downs being under the name of "Miku". It's enjoyable at some points, but I don't really think that it's worth playing. Wouldn't recommend.

Cool game. Some parts suck (like the part with the vines that aren't attached to walls), but it was enjoyable overall, especially the bosses.

This review is based on a 100% clear

While this game definitely shows it's age, contrary to what others may say, I honestly see this game as a real highlight of the era it comes from. It's simple, very obviously LoveTrap inspired, but really creative in a lot of ways. The aesthetics are charming, with every stage having some sort of red and bloody theme until the end of the game, and a lot of stages have neat gimmicks. The bosses are solid, primarily having RNG based attacks which are fun to dodge. There's an avoidance at the end of the main game, it's a bit questionable but I like it, although a video is recommended so you don't get owned by the learny ending. The extra stuff is a mixed bag, but I still like it, the extra final boss is really cool too. It's safe to say I think this game is massively overhated, I had a lot of fun with it.

The difficulty rating is mostly for the Miku avoidance, for which I spent about half of my total playtime.

This game offers six short trap stages, each with mild gimmicks and a short boss fight, and at the end of the main game, there is a final Miku avoidance. There are also secret keys for you to collect, where collecting all of them grants you access to the game's extra content.

General thoughts (spoilers ahead):

I honestly thought most of the traps in the game were funny or otherwise entertaining. They are designed such that you must jump in a slightly different way than you initially expect, and there is enough diversity to keep these from getting too repetitive. However, during the extra stage, I noticed more of a shift toward traps that completely change the route you must take through a room, and these were generally not as interesting to me.

As for the avoidances, I personally liked the level of difficulty for most of the fights, but there were a few instances of poor design choice. For the butterfly/flower lady, I found the blue and purple bullets to be incredibly hard to see, which was more so an issue during the significantly harder buffed boss rush. The game also does a poor job explaining to the player which bullets can be shot to make them disappear, which bullets block your shots, and even the fact that you can shoot the spikes in one of the stages to turn them into blocks. As for that particular stage, the gimmick is inconsistent on whether your bullet actually hits the spike or just passes straight through. And finally, while I recognize that this game is relatively old as of the time of writing this, the game features restarting music and has a tendency to lag in some areas.

For the Miku avoidance, the fight is divided roughly into one minute of easy pattern, then one minute of insane RNG, followed by another minute of simple (but choke-able) pattern. While I did have fun playing the difficult middle section, the easy pattern at the start made the whole experience take far longer than necessary and inspired a consistent sense of boredom. Finally, while I enjoyed the final extra boss as a whole, the star attack has an unnatural tendency to wall you.

Other than these sour moments, I found much of the game to be quite fun. Most of the traps, gimmicks, and boss attacks are designed in an interesting fashion, and the bosses were challenging enough that I felt satisfied after beating each one. The traps, though not overly extravagant, are both diverse and nicely spaced. Miku is the only part of this game that I would consider genuinely awful.
