Based on 100 % clear. While some stages were quite cool and there is some interesting ideas in general, execution kinda lacking. Traps all over the place and by the end i got really exhausted by them. Secrets themself were pretty decent, but they are placed very chaotic and not good. Main bosses are fine, Miku avoidance was not that bad as i expected, aside of boring intro this was pretty playable and fun
Extra on the other hand sucks, buffed boss rush was alright, but everything past it was meh, traps are even more intense somehow and bosses were awkward, with EX final boss being just shithole because of Red stars attack. Best part of Extra was that strange pointless minigame with scoring, that even not required, lol
Overall, it was mixed bag, and tbh there's way more polished/great old adventures around to play

Rating includes extra. Difficulty rating includes normal game (although extra is less difficult and doesn't affect it).
I am unaware of which game came out first between Device and this, but many fangames used the same formula:
-Begin in a hub from which you can choose 'n' stages in any order (n = 6 this time)
-Every stage has a cryptic secret (not so cryptic in this one, but at least one is not obvious)
-Face a boss at the end of a stage
-Enjoy generic traps from beginning to end, including at the very end of a save
-There is a final boss
-You unlock extra after beating the boss and collecting all secrets, with the extra requiring you to beat an additional stage or many, and having to face all bloody bosses again in steroids
Every stage is blood themed in a way, although there is a stage that was randomly decided to be the typical "forest stage"; I swear the only think missing was the overused Super Mario RPG theme. Screen transitions are quite unfair and mostly don't make sense.
If you're one of the people like me that usually begin with the upper left stage instead of venturing yourself in a random order, beware. Unless you understand perfectly the moving cherries that form a circle in the first screen, this screen is certified to be hell. Even when you're capable of noticing how to do it, you'll realize how precise it is. The very first save of the first screen of the game, which was this one, took me 25 minutes and 150 deaths. The second save of the same screen took me 6 deaths.
Expect an atrocious difficulty balance all over the place, but you will face the reach of this unnevenness right at the start. Don't get discouraged (or, just don't play the game at all).
The Miku is really boring, with a first minute that gets really boring, a second minute that is a cascade of fast attacks you must grind your learning through practice to get them right, and the final minute has two very precise moves which are really precise in strategy as they are position based (the two flower-like attacks that explode from the very center of the screen). The vocaloid is really fun, but the implementation to the avoidance is quite bad and it does have a Lovetrap attack at the end which is most unwelcome and frustrating.
Up to this point, the game is as awful as Explorer: failed gimmick ideas, bad execution, a really bad avoidance with a banger of a song (wasted potential) and
Now, enter the Extra Stage. You remember those old fangames where it was clearly done by two people, as properly credited in this page (say, Tempest or Breaking Out)? You can tell who did what if they have a preceeding reputation, or at least one does. Extra Stage is an oddity like itself. It has entertaining side scrollers, ingenious traps, a menacing terror aura, a dragon boss with robotic autotune, and even a Buy-the-Crayon-like / See-the-Moon-like segment with gravity gimmicks!
What is this? Who made EX? Was it done by the same person? Should I find a way to translate the read me? This is an entirely different, decent game.
The Extra Boss is not only better than the final Miku for any% clear, but also quite cool, more balanced, implements the cool attack nicely, has a cool sprite and a great background for the "blood theme".
I cannot recommend this game solely based on experiencing Extra, since that involves also fighting all bosses buffed, and some stages do not even feel blood-themed at all. It's a strange, very bad game overall.
If you're into the K2 challenge and have a high tolerance for those particularities that old fangames had.... err, sure, try it, but do seek for EX and use a guide for the secrets.

Kinda strange fangame with its ups and downs. You start in a hub where you can select six warps and your goal is to collect the boss items. Each stage also has a secret key which is required if you want to enter the post game content. I wish the game had more variety to its stage music other than Guyrock, with the exception of the extra stages.
As for the stages themselves, they weren't too bad with the exception of one save in the forest area. I liked the spike gimmick of the bottom left warp a lot, where you have to shoot the moving spikes and something random happens by doing so, but this also means its a lot harder to shoot them because your bullets tend to go through the spike which usually results in failing the save you're on.
After collecting all six boss items the top right warp is available and it starts with this unneccessary quiz section, even if it's just a single screen. The real shit starts right after it. It's a Miku avoidance which has to be one of the most boring avoidances I have seen in a while. Once you figure out what to do at the first minute it becomes free and very boring since right when it says you have 2 minutes left it throws a lot of random360's at you from all directions but left. Right after that you have 2 pattern based attacks and finally another RNG attack again, this time fruit comes from both left & right and up & down. The last 45 seconds mostly consists of pattern attacks and the RNG attack here and there. The whole avoidance just feels very bland and unbalanced, so this might be a stopping point for you even when the main game ends right after.
If you've collected all eight keys you can enter a new hub with the bosses you've encountered before, but this time they are all buffed with the exception of the red slime boss which just plays the cutscene again for some reason. I didn't find the bosses to be that hard, but the frog might deliver a challenge and it's easy to die there just by being unlucky. After the boss rush there's still a lengthy extra stage left, which was surprisingly pretty fun! It had some creative moments and the bosses weren't too annoying. The gimmick at the second half of the stage is a bit iffy in how the platforming is made, but you'll get used to it quick. The extra final boss has only one attack I found to be harder than the rest, that being the third attack of the fight. The stars can spawn at the worst places and it lasts way longer than the attacks before it. Overall, it was a pretty cool conclusion to the end the extra content on.
I can't say much of the game other than it's "okayish". It has a few rough spots, mainly the avoidance I mentioned before and I have no idea why the quiz screens are even here but most of the game was overall kinda decent.

I have mixed feelings about this one. Mostly bad ones. I loved how it takes its title seriously, all the stages at the beginning give a really bloody feeling...Then the last stage really disappointed me, it doesn't make any sense at all. It just doesn't fit in the game. I also liked how the first 6 secrets are placed at fair places, you don't have to do anything ridiculous to get them (Rainbow Miku comes to the mind)...Then the two last secrets just had to ruin everything. Both are at places that shouldn't even have secrets, and you probably need to understand japanese to get through one of them (Or maybe it just doesn't make any sense anyway).
This game also has one of the most absurd Mikus I've ever seen. The first minute is a tedious sequence of easy pattern attacks whose only purpose is just to make you bored. Then, the second minute comes. It's a RNG storm of luck-based attacks, so if you're not lucky, get ready to die a lot. The third minute is a storm of pattern attacks. So, it works basically like this: First minute makes you bored. The second minute makes you even more bored, but you can't get bored, because good RNG means dodgeable RNG, not easy RNG, so you will still need concentration to dodge the attacks. Then you get unlucky at some point, and die again. And when you get past the second minute...Each pattern attack of the third minute will be there to kill you at least once. And you'll have to do it all over again. Without getting bored, otherwise you won't get anywhere. Good luck with that. I liked the music, but that's digging slightly too deep to find something good about the avoidance.
The level design ranges from good to bad, some saves are enjoyable (Loved the secret of the vine stage), and some are not (Conveyor Belts. Ugh). Some traps are just unnecessary, but some are well-placed.
The extra includes a boss rush with hard versions of the six first bosses, the disappointing last stage, and the last boss, which isn't bad for the most part (Her third attack is just terrible, though. Luck-based, too fast and with an annoying hitbox). Nothing really worth getting the secrets for, probably.
Overall, it's a game with ups and downs. Most of these downs being under the name of "Miku". It's enjoyable at some points, but I don't really think that it's worth playing. Wouldn't recommend.
