infern0man, an unforgettable titan of fangames, always a person on the lookout of his beloved community regarding their games, achievements, speedrun records or just meme streams, a strong collaborator that brought along many of the most decent fangames in the site with a clear list that surpassed the 2000 mark, with all the pain in the world for us, bids us farewell, leaving behind a legendary collaboration with Thenader2, another titan. Colorful, with exquisite design, this is a neon adventure that, again, I find myself happily recommending. It's too bad that one of the reasons of his departure is the increasing toxicity of the online community, but the experiences, work and, most importantly, friends you built in the past are irreplaceable. Please never forget those that shaped your fangame heart.

As for the game, it ranks either third or fourth (most probably fourth) among the Neon deliveries, right after Colorize the Needle and Traverse the Neon Rainbow (probably also Be The Neon 1, because I am skewed in favor of the game that started it all). The soundtrack is among my least favorites, but Thenader2 always raised the bar when it came to this. ALWAYS. My family literally had to ask me to turn the volume down just an hour ago before I finished this.

Gameplay is satisfactory and design variety is decent; level design is creative and jump mechanics are unpredictable, which always was Thenader2's trademark.

Final section involves a mixture of gimmicks which comes as very memorable, so be on the lookout for that.

All in all, a good game.

P.S. On a sentimental note, I found it great that, just before retiring, infern0man gave one last push with another great guy. And this great guy happened to say once that he would be retiring of making Neon games because he had grown tired of it after he made his by-then last Neon game. Well, look what an epic teamup could do after all!

I liked this game. It's a good game.

I'm kind of inexperienced in Infernos needle, but i'm quite familiar with Naders, so this was an interesting experience. I was worried that the alternating saves would result in some whiplash, but it ended up being a fun flavor rather than something distracting. Infernos needle felt a lot more wide open, with more jump sequences taking you over a large breadth of space, with Naders being more claustrophobic and tight. It helped keep the needle fresh.

I think there didn't need to be 2 stages straight of dotkid needle, mind, since dotkid needle feels more like a spectacle than an actual platforming challenge. You can't really push it very far without it getting silly, so it all kinda blends together. But with the last stage being what it is, it makes sense why there's a decent bit of focus on it. Speaking of, I thought the last stage was a really cool usage of dotkid. Would have liked to see a bit more mid-jump transformations, there's a lot of design space for that i think.

Anyway, a comfy needle game that will probably only last most people an hour or two, but it's very well made from top to bottom. I like neon aesthetics aswell, and the music. So that's always a plus. Go play it.

Krypton is a 36-room needle game, alternating saves between the two makers. It features a couple of extra gimmicks beyond just standard needle, such as dotkid and speed changing, as well as a handful of easter eggs thrown in for good measure.

The game flows very nicely and no saves stick out as badly designed or unbalanced, making for a very pleasant needle experience. The difference between Inferno's and Nader's styles is noticeable, but not jarring and makes for a good combination. I particularly liked the usage of dotkid and speed which made the platforming feel more fresh and interesting. I would've liked to see them perhaps elaborated on more for the final few screens, maybe a big combination of the gimmicks on a larger screen to reach the final warp, as I was left caught off-guard when the game had ended.

Overall a very solid needle game, as to be expected from two great needle makers.

The needle is pretty fun, and the design choices in some rooms are great.
