Probably not what I was expecting to see from several very positive ratings...

Anyway, this is the latest TSUYOSHIマン adventure game, which is divided in 2 stages. First stageis designed as trap-heavy stage, while second is Mario stage. I should say that game already starts with quite tricky and hard traps, which are quite a lot and I was many times confused of what I had to do. Some traps I liked, and they seemed original (like Kirby trap), but some were just unoriginal from my perspective (most of the traps at the beginning screens). Gameplay wasn't really easy, in my opinion, and totally not beginner friendly. Fruit patterns can take trouble for beginners, in my opinion. The thing, which I really liked was the mini-boss, where you have to remember how many particular things are on the screen, and then answer. It is very interesting designed and may confuse you, and you will be surprised how about small details author had thought. I really had fun. First boss, similarly like second one are fake bosses, but I liked the trap after first boss, it was actually funny. Second stage was my least favorite stage. Mario themed gameplay seemed more or less original, but nothing too special, except frog gimmick. Also it is harder than first stage. Gameplay had many timing parts, which I wasn't really fan of. I liked several ideas, but it just wasn't my cup of tea. Also I felt that there is huge disbalance of saves in second stage - some are a lot easier than others and oppositely.

Overall, I didn't feel that game is too short or unfinished. It took me more than 40 minutes, which is quite a lot for such a game, and I am actually very glad, that it doesn't have more. I was quite dissatisfied for the experience. I mean if you like games which has good visual designs and doesn't have restarting music and has Mario stage, then this is game for you. For me the only fun part was 'Quiz' mini-boss, to be honest. That is the reason, why I wouldn't recommend this game and why I think that it is overrated.

For how short Poronkusema is, it's incredibly memorable. If you're looking for a little adventure full of creative and amusing traps then this will probably scratch your itch nicely.

The game consists of just a couple of stages, the former of which is very trap heavy in a comedic way (as opposed to just flying spikes and such). There's lot of galaxy braining and gotcha moments, one screen of which is sure to leave a lasting impression. The second stage is more gimmick platforming orientated rather than trap heavy, although this is still very much enjoyable and felt smoothly designed.

It's a game with little faults, which is partly down to it being so short. Regardless of the length however, it's still a lot of fun and a memorable game for what it is. Heavily recommended.

One of the best trap/venture game I have played by now. Traps are clever and often funny, and the adventure side is well-made. The first part remind me of hanamogeta style and the second of WTW mario area, which are great compliments.
The only downside of the game is that its too short.
