Prototype Miruwanna game inspired of 'Cookie Clicker'.
If you read the readme, there is pretty much all the information that explains why this game exists. This game was made for Dagger's Miruwanna (みる☆ワナ) contest back in 2013. According to the author - this game was made in 2 hours, since the creator was working on something else, and did not have enough time. From what I can understand, this game in itself was accepted in the contest past the deadline.
Author mentions that he got 4th place out of 12 participants and received 151.12 out of 200 points. Interestingly enough there were several bugs in the game, that were fixed for the public release.
Now, as for the gameplay, refer to what Xplayerlol said. You just have 1 boss, that has 1000 HP. You need to click on the button 'Power' to produce 'PowerPoints'. You have 8 options that you can buy, one half is directly meant for speeding up the damage process and the other is for farming the points.
You cannot actually die in this game, and game form the starts does automatic farming process every second. If you are extremely lazy, you can wait for 10 seconds, buy the cheapest option for 10 PowerPoints and go away from the keyboard. You will beat the game anyway, but it will take a lot of time. I have tested and it took me 29 minutes and 15 seconds and 435 kid deaths. I have not paid a lot of attention, but normally one kid on the lowest setting deals 1 bullet damage and when it dies, it also deals additional damage. Did not notice where the extra damage went, but oh well. You got the point.
Normally, if you do the most optimal spending of your points, it will take you around 3 minutes. However, you won't be able to even buy all the options. The most expensive option for 5000 PowerPoints is literally not worth it. It is too expensive, and you will need to spam a lot to get it. Funnily enough, it will take longer if you do wanna get it. That is definitely a downside.
It would be cool having more options, but I did like the fact that HP was balanced so that you could buy 7 out of 8 options before killing the boss. You need to click quite a bit, but it is not that bad, and for the prototype boss it was pretty cool.
Of course, I wish there was more to do, and that you would have some kind of threats. The fact, that you can beat this game with just a single click and waiting, shows that this should not be perceived more than a prototype.
But like, it is the same thing as 'Guy Tower Defense', which in itself has very little to offer in itself. But it has a foundation that allowed 'Guy Tower Defense 2022' to exist.
I think if someone takes the prototype of this game, and remakes it, there is a potential of a really, really solid game.
I do understand why there are very low ratings to this game, but I appreciate for what it is. For 2 hours, author really tried their best: you have some selection of abilities, and pretty fun gameplay for 3 minutes. The fact you see how much time passed and how many kids died does fit as well. Oh, and the kid's repeating audio is actually hilarious the further you go, if you ask me.
So, yeah, if you want just something to do for 3 minutes and wanna see something unusual, I think I would recommend this game. It will be a bit of brainless experience, but it is a pretty unique experience in fangame realm, so that is something.
