Not gonna lie that the horror theme almost made me bail immediately, but it turned out to be not too scary in the end. I got to enjoy the puzzle element of the game immediately, and while the needle was often punishing, it was at least forgiving enough that I was able to pull it off.
I would have appreciated more save points between parts of puzzles, as it was very frustrating when I knew how to solve each of the puzzles, but had to do them all over again after dying. I feel like if a game is going to be heavy on the puzzles, there shouldn't be an expectation to have to solve them all in one go. After you've solved a puzzle once, it becomes less fun to have to repeat it each subsequent time.
That said, I did enjoy all the different gimmicks. I got stuck at what I assume to be the final boss, which is an avoidance fight (and I suck at those.) I am unsure if I will be able to succeed on that boss as a result, but the game was otherwise very fun.
