Solid Hades-like that's easier than the original. Avoids a lot of the aids jumps prevalent throughout Hades and many of its successors, though it retains the difficulty imbalance.

Cleared on Very Hard as well, which clocks in at about 65 difficulty.

What an amazing Adventure game lurking in the shadows of Delfruit, I really enjoyed this one quite a lot. This game has a power of creativity and entertainment I have not seen much of before.

The game features a main stage of standard adventure platforming that is occasionally diverted by fun gimmick segments, each with their own cool boss battle. One area of this game is actually insanely impressive for a 2014 fangame, and the boss of this stage is also equally impressive for how it uses the gimmick. Also, the final boss is extremely neat due to how it emphasizes strategy over speed, and offers a challenge you wouldn't find in other fangames.

I definitely believe people should play this one, it's a really fun adventure game with some ideas you would never expect.

Once again another wonderful game from Kurath that combines his solid Needleventure design with gimmick puzzle aspects to make an interesting Metroidvania. I found it mostly enjoyable, one big aspect of it sadly took me a bit out of the mood though.

The game takes place over 4 connected areas, each one has its own theme and corresponding design going on. Placed throughout these areas are Trials, which are separate mini stages you have to complete in order to unlock some sort of ability, one for example will give you Double Jump, another the ability to toggle different blocks on and off. Each area also has a boss you can do, you might even find you can skip atleast one of them if you go in with a MV mindset and consider your abilities and the map routing. I found them to be pretty cool, though I think almost every one had an attack I rather didn't like, and it's usually either halfway or later into the fight.

Now my big problem with the game revolves around a large puzzle that guards the final stage. You have various things spread across the entire game that you have to interact with in certain ways to solve and open the path. This is reminiscent of the tablets in Overlord, which personally I think was a pointless scavenger point that extended the playtime without much reason. Here though is the major problem, if your solution is wrong you have to go interact with them all again since you can't check till they're all set, and in a game with non-easy platforming that can rack up your game time quite a bit. Unfortunately for me, I failed to grasp a mechanic in this puzzle due to an assumption on my part, and because of such spent almost three hours trying to do this puzzle. If you get stuck like me then here's what I got wrong Unlike an actual clock you can't just set it to an hour and it mean both AM and PM, you have to check the little visual at the top to see what you're on and do a full rotation if needed. I'll also say that the final stage felt a bit off, almost as if it was from a different game entirely, it even removes most of the abilities you got from the rest of the Metroidvania before it.

Besides that issue though, I think the game is really fun, and would obviously recommend it like I would any Kurath production. I really love this style of gameplay so I hope to see V in the future.

Darejar is an extremely difficult game to rate because parts of it are pretty fun, but some of it is quite questionable. I still believe it's an above-average fangame, but there is a load of problems I'll note most seem to have with it that I think drag it down a good bit.

For the most part, Darejar is a Trapventure fangame with a couple of stages of platforming with bosses at the end of each. There's a solid bit of variety in these stages, you'll start in the luxurious grasslands, move into a colorful factory area, and then end in a great tower; all of these areas look visually superb and have a lot of different styles of gameplay going on. A lot of the saves are actually really fun as well, Hanamogeta is definitely someone who can make interesting stuff.

But now the issues, and there are quite a few. Foremost, one of the main traps in the game is a soldier who appears like every other save and shoots at you, it's neat the first time but gets completely annoying by the fifth, and stays that way past even the tenth. One main save that causes issues is in the first stage, imagine spikes that alternate up and down on your jump, but now imagine if they were randomized so it's not consistently 1-2; this save is beyond the hardest thing in the game since it has another screen of stuff after the randomized segment that even has a flying spike tier trap at the end. My last main issue comes from the final stage, it has a trap that actually sends you back a save, kind of upsetting considering the one it sends you back to was my least favorite in that area. I'll also mention I take a bit of issue with the final boss, there's a possible moment in it where you'll be bombarded by the shooter guys and die until you discover a safe spot for them.

Overall, I can't say I would recommend it due to these issues, but it's also a somewhat decent game so if you have a high tolerance for traps then you might enjoy it.

For: I Wanna Snow The Ball
Snow the Ball is a short sudoku game themed around a Snow Ball trying to achieve their dreams of using a time machine. There's a tiny bit of platforming, an easy boss, and a short avoidance. Along the way, it makes you feel like a Snow Ball due to having one as your player sprite.

Honestly recommend it because it's rather funny and enjoyable.

A short 10-stage puzzle game with a gimmick where you shoot spikes with different powerups to change their properties. The gimmick was very interesting; I had fun all the way through to the end.
