Based on no extras
Both Salt and Pepper have fun and basic bosses however both games lack in the same category for opposite reasons. Salt has Needle sections that are too easy compared to the bosses. Pepper has platforming (way) harder than the bosses. With Salt you could see it as a small break from a boss, this can't be said for pepper.
The game while having way harder needle screens than bosses is still quite cool.

It seems impossible to find some of the hidden elements at first sight. Also, from Stage 7 onward, the game became very difficult and painful to play.
The bosses are very easy.
