It's an L game. It doesn't have any animation-dependent cherry stuff which is good, though it does have a couple required <3fs (in the same save) which I never like. Having suggested strats ingame was a nice touch. The sixth save was especially cool.

A short needle game. An interesting take on standard gimmicks, making you think about how to use them in new and different ways. Overall its got a heavy focus on short saves and tight precision, as well as being puzzly from a pathing perspective in terms as figuring out where you're going is definitely not spoonfed.
Its pretty fun, although the difficulty choices are a bit jarring at times and involve some uncomfortable moves in exchange for creative pathing, but if that doesn't bother you, its enjoyable.

A sequel/expansion to 'I Wanna —', designed to be slightly more challenging but still welcoming to new players. No bunny hops or cancels are required for any saves, but valign may occasionally be part of intended strats. You can press 'up' on any save to see a recommended strat, and press 'backspace' at any time to see your aligns. Saving valign is toggleable by player preference thanks to an engine update from renex.

EDIT: the original review below only pertains to the first main stage of the game, which is as far as I played when I originally tried the game out. the rest of the game looks much much better
extremely uncomfortable movements that feel very rough around the edges really bring down the experience for me. it feels uncomfortable in a way thats hard to describe, almost as though the game was designed for an entirely different set of physics but happens to be possible with fangame physics. the movements and general structure of the saves are cool and theres a lot of interesting ideas, but it often feels like im fighting against the controls and having to awkwardly stutter everywhere, theres no flow to the jumps at all. no rating as I did not finish

2022/08/24 - the game is done!
a short adventure game about change, made for the 2nd i wanna game jam
it was my first real experience with a game jam, and it was really cool
i felt pushed at every moment, and somehow a game was cobbled together in just 3 days
post-jam changes:
- remade a stage into a treasure hunt
- made the missing stage
- bugfixes, polishing, dialogue tweaking
- you can ride the slide now (kinda)
