Criminally underplayed. There's no fangames quite like this.
Amazing variety of minigames especially after the 2.0 update, with a good amount of side content/quests to keep you busy even after unlocking all minigames. Online leaderboards for some minigames is an amazing addition for this game, though i wish more minigames had leaderboards since there's some that could have it without changing much.
Definitely recommended.

There's easy needle, there's hard needle, there's consistency needle, there's easy precision needle, there's trigger platforming. Just loads of stuff and it's mostly cool.
My main complaint is that the vine screen of TheWWworld stage was neutered away during testing basically just because it was based on nonstandard vine placements, it would've been fun to play.

Collect the Pixels is an adventure game with a very interesting blend of classic and modern design, featuring a classic hub style set of stages with secrets and some followup.
Production is definitely its strong suit, especially the art. It has a very distinct, custom pixel art style that feels very consistent and clean. This feels like a core part of the game's identity and one of the things that stands out the strongest. Accompanying that is a very fitting music and sound design that definitely fit the theming. The simplistic, retro style of the audio makes it more noticeable when things are missing, and it definitely felt like there could've been a bit more in the sfx, but overall really strong.
Platforming wise, there's a good bit of variety and a lot of interesting segments. Tending to alternate between fighting enemies and utilizing the stage defining gimmick, with an occasional curveball segment thrown in - something I'm always a fan of. There were some beefs with cycles and enemy spawn points and design that felt awkward to me, but otherwise a lot of interesting parts and each stage felt very different and the problem segments were surely the minority. Lastly, there are secrets which are mostly indicated, but unfortunately if you miss one lack any real indication as to where or why. These are for a smaller 'extra' stage, which while it has some neat bonus stuff is not as of release related to a real additional ending or anything
Boss-wise, it was a bit more mixed for me, though I appreciate that every boss was very distinct style.
Overall, it has a lot of variety, which is a huge plus for me, and a lot going for it. I'm led to believe there's may be coming for the game, but for what exists, there's plenty to enjoy. It feels like its lacking a bit of final polish, with some of the expected QoL functionality (particularly secrets and the avoidance timer which disappears on death so its not super usable for the player being the big ones for me) but not ones that stop it from being a great adventure game to get a couple hours of gameplay out of. I'd recommend it if you like adventure games that have a bit of bite to them, as its definitely not a beginner game.

Good needle game even if a bit short. Not a huge fan of the last screen, but I like the style of the others. Clear screen has "NSFW" (it's just anime girl with a bit of skin exposed), I don't think you have to worry if you stream it but better knowing it just in case.

pretty nice to play through, very relaxing and has a lot of varying atmospheres and landscapes for you to go across. I definitely would recommend it, though it is a bit slow initially the game is quite enjoyable if strange. 10/10 on the vibes though
