It has an idea, but does a pretty poor job of implementing it and designing around it.
The gimmick is you randomly change physics - either lower/higher first/second jump, faster or slower, full jump only or whatever the case may be. The problem is many segments become impossible with disadvantageous physics at which point it just becomes a lot of standing around and waiting for it to happen.
The design in the individual stages is meh, with a bland spotlight stage in one, just kind of annoying design in general in another and 'riddles' in a third, almost exclusively leaning on the side of annoying rather than zany. The difficulty primarily comes from one extremely long segment with a lot of these problems.
Overall, if you like RNG there's some value here, but I generally do and found it pretty unenjoyable still. With some better platforming design, it could've gone a lot better.

Pretty fun trapventure game with pretty intense bosses.
Paces nicely and doesn't go overboard with the traps on any particular stage, which is great, and after the first stage it incorporates a simple yet interesting gimmick into each one. Most of the traps are somewhat generic but it keeps to the classics.
The bosses are quite elaborate too, which is enjoyable, though a little clowny at times.
Overall, its fun and solid with a nice peak at the end. Recommended if you're looking for a shorter trapventure style game with bosses.

For: I wanna afflict the Mashikaku
Afflict the Mashikaku is one of the darling gems of classic adventure games, and very much one of my favorite fangames. So much about it just shows heart and passion, from the custom-made boss sprites to the interesting stages, it's really what you would want from an adventure fangame.
Everything in the game is full of some healthy fun, never really exceeding too much in a difficult jump. The stages are all unique and include some pretty interesting mechanics, such as a giant screen with coins hidden around it, buttons that change your gravity to be upside down or alternate reality itself, a stage that actually features a boss rush and an actually decent ice stage. The bosses are very much the highlight of the game and are all unique and interesting, some of them range from Touhoe-style attacks, some require shooting targets to damage, and there are even some avoidances and infinite jump segments.
Overall, this is a very good fangame, and I highly recommend it to all Adventurers.

The game lets you save anywhere in the map, however if you save while dead you will get sent back to the top left corner of the screen, which happens to be the beginning.
