Clarence is a pretty challenging 100f game.
The difficulty is all over the place and i'd say the middle of the game might just be harder than the 70's and 80's. Luckily there's no true bruh moments jump wise for the most part, although theres one jump later on that gets close. I appreciate the variety that is in this game, most stages feel surprisingly distinct.
Visually this game doesn't look that great, but for the most part it works. One tileset hurts to look at though. The music is pretty okay.
Overall a pretty allright fangame that needle playes looking to get better might enjoy.

An interesting L needle screen on the easier side. The game tries to experiment with unusual jump heights and maneuvers while refraining from being too precise or requiring any sort of cancels, and for the most part it's successful, with some unique drops and satisfying climbing sections. Recommended for a chill short playthrough for experienced players or a look into the genre for beginners, and I believe that even those who dislike L needle can enjoy this one.

This was definitely better than the previous 2, but I enjoyed it less. The needle was much better, and more engaging, but the bosses were quite long and pretty empty. The boss rush at the end was what really killed the fun though.

Rating doesn't include crazy mode.
Much better than the first game in the series, it's still far from perfect (for example bosses still being a bit too learny) but overall a massive improvement over the original.
