ok so.
sorry for removing the download link, gonna try to get it up again. it was a dumb move, yeah, but I was disappointed looking back on this game. I intended this to be my last game for a while because I just wanted to make a small new year's gift because I was bored. its really not that good of a game honestly but since me and infern0man1 both thought what I made was decent enough I thought i'd just package the maps I made into a little game. when I woke up and saw zorgo's review I wanted to remove the download link because I felt kind of embarrassed because he fuckin ripped the game apart (which is fair, btw), but after that I decided to just remove the download link.
in hindsight maybe that was a dumb idea honestly. idk. it feels like im always stuck in a weird creative rut where even when I try different stuff it never turns out the way I want to. the intention I had here was to make a game like needle butterfly but with my own flavor really. did I do that well? no idea, some people liked it, some people hated it and I can say that for most of the stuff I make. idk why my stuff is like that, but maybe that's a good thing in a weird way.
sorry if you didn't like the game, and thank you if you left a review that pointed out some of the games flaws. I like criticism a lot so don't be afraid to give it to me. my games would be shittier if no one cared to point out what I did right and wrong.
don't know where to go from here, probably gonna take a break though. when I come back I want to be better at programming and graphic design so I don't have to keep relying on others to help me. I have some ideas, but waiting to do them would probably be better for me and for whatever I wanna make in the future (I don't wanna just make fangames, btw). well that is unless I get random spurts of inspiration and decide to make a short game or something, although we'll see.

On release fast vertically moving platforms liked munching on people's jumps when playing on most framerate settings. That should now be fixed, kill me on discord otherwise. There are still some minor weird bugs with the engine but, none of them should affect gameplay much.
Tell me it ain't sick that you can play at 150fps.
