This game feels weird to me, on one hand its SUPER generic, all the room structures are nothing you haven't seen before including just left/right up/down corridors, and the difficulty curve is pretty bad with it beginning like a tame 100F game and ending like a genuine needle game. On the other hand, i'd be lying if i said I didn't enjoy the game, every now and then it'll throw in some gimmicks and while the screen layouts are generic, some of the jumps can be pretty good, none of the saves are also too long which is always a plus in my book. The game has secrets that i'm not sure if they do anything, but they're not bad at all and super obvious so you might as well go for them. Overall if you wanna kill some time with a needle game, but still want a bit of challenge for it, then this game should suffice those needs.

This is a heavy vine/water/platform needle game on a pure 32px grid. The level design and flow is all pretty great, with a lot of high airtime maneuvers that are satisfying to pull off.
Admittedly I'm not the biggest fan of 32px in general, and I feel like weaknesses of the game come from them. The balance between some jumps feels lopsided based on how well it fits into the grid, though he still did a great job of balancing saves according to the jumps within them. All in all, it doesn't hurt the game much but there are some annoying jumps along the way because of it. Still, if you like classic gimmick heavy platforming with double jump conservation and all that jazz, this is very much worth playing.

Oh boy, was that appalling! Truly awful and monotonous design with zero variety. I get that the focus of the game is the gimmicks, less than half which are implemented in fun ways, but 80% of the rooms are boring, generic jumps and shockingly uneventful. Difficulty curve is a gigantic mess, like a cosine function and then random. Floor 47 was actually the funnest and funniest; it had me laughing all the way through, but I cleared it very quickly. I heard horrors about Floor 48, but it took me less than a minute once I realized it was all pattern you literally just have to rush as quickly as possible to the exit going up and right, except for dodging two quick apples before reaching the goal. Saving grace is the chasing wall at the 30s, but even in the trap area, it was really predictable.
Also, no music. Why? I know I can choose my own (that's besides the point), but why would I be forced to? The game is so lazy it doesn't have a freaking title screen!
I saw several references to the original I Wanna be The Guy, so at least it knows when a game is good.
Avoid like a plague.
