I wouldn't say it's easy, but it's definitely not hard.
The sides of the screen in this game are WACK, they're walls whenever they feel like it.
Debug mode has been left on, can't tell whether that was intentional or not.

I made this game in a month for shortventure 2018, it was my first complete game. (I've had many attempts before this, but shortventure's what gave me the motivation to finish it)
It was very ambitious to make 3 stages with 9 screens and a boss each, and that shows with the quality of some later screens.
If you do plan on playing, I can only recommend stage 1, stage 2 is mediocre and stage 3 is really bad.

The water is used in creative ways, but some of the uses were really awkward to pull off imo.
Notably, when you have to drop into 32x64 water, where the top 32x32 portion is taken up by a down spike, and swim under the down spike.
Though, aside from that, I don't really dislike anything else. Amazing game!

I'll rate it inbetween what I think someone who can't reliably get to the third to last jump in save 4 would feel and someone who can reliably get to the third to last jump in save 4 would feel.
If you can't reliably get to that jump (reliably being in roughly every 5 minutes), it can get really irritating because you spend like 15-20 minutes constantly dying to the double water plane and occasionally dying to the jump after, then get to the hard part and (most of the time) die right away.
If you can reliably get to it, though, it's a very fun save to grind.

I liked this game a lot, though there was a save I didn't enjoy that much.
That was only 1 save though, the rest of the game was great.
It was save 12, it starts with 2 jumps where you have to be as close to the spike as possible, then 5 frame and press right on the same frame, where after the second one comes a frame-perfect double jump. It can get really irritating getting stuck on the first 2 jumps from time to time, wasn't enjoyable to grind out.
