This is much different from your usual Marimario avoidance. Instead of being a short 1.5 minute long pattern avoidance, this is one is 3 minutes and is almost all RNG. Overall it's a fun little avoidance, none of the attacks I felt were unfair except for near the end with the 2nd spiral pattern where you have to move from right to left, the circles can spawn on you but I only died to it once so maybe I got lucky idk. That being said, the balance on some attacks can definitely be a bit wack since some situations will just be harder than others. The song itself is very relaxing, and the attacks themselves focus more on slow, dense, and/or curving attacks to fit with it. It's nice but I also feel like if you spend too long on this it can get annoying/old pretty fast, so beware.

Kamilia 2, a really big classic.
I started this journey a year ago, and i would say is one of the best fangames i played.
I loved the stages 1 - 5, including the bosses.
Disliked the needle part of the stage 6, but the bossrush made it one of my favorite stages.
Ehhhhh, boss 6 isn't that bad i would say, with the unique "Big Kid Chase"
Last stage has a pretty trash needle, with a lot of generic jumps, i would say is the thing that i didn't like the most in the entire game.
The final boss is epic, pretty fun, with a good difficulty, and memorable. and the iconic Nightmare.
One of the most influential fangames of all time, 9/10.

goner-like with several areas, which is a cool idea I suppose. the saves themselves aren't very interesting or difficult, but they're decent enough to warrant playing. there are some more interesting stages, like the savejump area which is very unique but somewhat mashy and annoying at times; and the rightmost warp with the water jumps. not much else is very notable, it's a standard goner-like in all others parts

Needle game that consists of 3 stages with each one of them having its own gimmick as stated in other reviews, followed by an easy boss.
Overall the game is enjoyable up until the the last 3 screens of the speedrun stage, where the game has an incredible difficulty spike that paired with the terrible music and the ugly sprites caused me to genuinely have pain in my eyes after 30 minutes of playing.
I managed to skip the last 2 stages by using that one save glitch that tps the kid on the top left of the screen.
the final boss is also a caricature of an african man. damn

I just like how maker definitely put intentional stylish sadistic touch on this game. It's obviously bad game, but it's delivering more than just being bad, so i kiiiinda enjoyed

Each theme lasts for 20 floors for a total of 5 themes. The difficulty doesn't ever rise to anything substantial; probably the hardest thing in it is the occasional gate jump. I do like the pathing of some stages, which even made me think at points, but it does get dull. 40 minutes of this feels overkill even for a beginner. I think a beginner should play something more short and to the point, or if they must do a long-form game, something with more variety + maybe gimmicks
