Rating based on Very Hard mode.
A normal short Needle game, except for the feature that the number of needles changes with difficulty.
The later stages become more difficult, and the more placements you know the names of.
Each needle has a different color, which allows you to see which difficulty level is added, but from what I saw, there seemed to be a very big difference in difficulty between Hard and Very Hard.

Very interesting pattern avoidance. In classic snow's manner we have bunch of seemingly generic patterns - sudden lines from the bottom, patterns, which seem as RNG, etc. However, the catch for this avoidance is to use needle tower segment as big part of avoidance.
Similarly like with 'I wanna little adventure', snow knows how to use layout for his own advantage. You have indicators, while going down, followed by going back up, you have bunch of sudden attacks. Me from 2023 also noted that there were visual Easter eggs - but I cannot recall this moment as of now though.
And in the end you continue similarly like in the beginning - trying to find where it is safe to stay, and in the end repeating what you did in the beginning, except its in reverse.
It is really unique avoidance, and sure - it might seem instagib-y, but I personally liked it for that. It is a pleasure playing it and progressing. In some way, you feel as if you are playing Melanzana for beginners.
Really cool stuff.
Would recommend if you have spare hour or two and if you are not afraid of learning patterns!

Pretty simple jtool needle game. 20 screens of needle and 3 EX screens.
It was a breeze for me as a proficient player.
I was surprised by Screen 9's drop with a two corners, but I didn't struggle on it, so perhaps it looks more scary than it is.
That said, the difficulty balance does seem off. Nothing is hard to execute, but some parts do require needle knowledge.
I'm not sure if this game is truly a good fit for a beginner, but I'd recommend for a Novice looking for a quick way to flex their skills.

Some of the jumps are really rough. Some saves screens flow really nicely.
In saves with hard jumps, they are always put at the start of the save, making the overall experience less tedious. The four-block upward plane in the final screen gave me particular trouble.
As the "Read Me" of the game notes, and Paragus' review alludes to, every screen has at least one corner jump. Some have many more.
The corners aren't actually that bad, if you try to flow through them.
Stay calm. Corner jumps can sense fear.

Pretty fun. I wish the other 2 bosses were more like the toaster since they both felt really easy in comparison.

if you're looking for some classic Miku fun, you've come to the right place!
the game consists of 8 Miku avoidances with a decent mix of pattern and RNG in each one. more specifically, there's 6 traditional miku avoidances (pattern + RNG), 1 fully pattern and 1 fully RNG avoidance. generally I wouldn't advise playing the game blind, as it will be a thoroughly unfun experience. unfortunately, some blatant luck checks are present, along with some rather poor attack ideas that don't function all too well. there's some mean design choices here and there, like the disappearing player gimmick which I had hoped to never see again after my first encounter with it in I wanna be the Payment. very fortunately, I first tried 80% of that avoidance, meaning I didn't have to deal with the invisible player gimmick more than once. you'll generally see a ton of attacks that look like RNG but are actually seeded and have very consistent strats. this observation could also be derived from the fact that they're almost always much easier than they look. there's a lot of standstill patterns or blank, unfilled gaps in the avoidances where you just wait around. this only serves to build tension as to what's next, or to make you forget. I'm not too sure, but get used to waiting a bunch
every avoidance has some intricacies of its own, but my personal favorite has to be the pink background warp. I loved the patterns, they are quite easily learnable and fun to execute for a somewhat experienced avoidance player. my least favorite had to be the entirely RNG Miku fight, as the song sucked and kept looping, along with having lame and unfun attacks that don't change either
shoutouts to the world's most blatant luck check in the Ievan Polkka avoidance. like come on bro
