This review is based on a clear of Very Hard mode, titled as all question marks in game
The game opens with 8 easy screens of needle in a row, but after that is the real meat of the game, a short avoidance that at this point is somewhat infamous. Among other games which often get written off as avoidance hall of fame trash, Railgun could very well be one of the most interesting. The reason this avoidance is so bad is the first attack of all things, which is an attack which is so luck-based that even a great player probably won't even manage 1% consistency on it. Most of your time spent playing this demon will be on this attack, and it really doesn't help that the other attacks are also luck based. Attack 2 is mostly fair but can snipe you when the shapes spawn, bouncing is brutal sometimes as bouncing with platforms tends to be, Imasugu can be literally impossible, the red attack can destroy you if it decides to snipe you when a spawner is near, plus transitioning badly into following pattern, and final can also just destroy you in so many scenarios. In spite of these glaring issues and my relatively bad luck causing me to die 71 times after the intro, I still had a good time, the game is just genuinely really funny and the intro is bad in a funny way, but if you wouldn't get enjoyment out of that kind of thing you should stay far away, there's very very little that could possibly entice you about the game. You don't even get to listen to the song because you die to the intro so much.
