For: I wanna Lap Backwards

While the original Lap Around is definitely far more deliberate and balanced than this game, I still think Lap Backwards holds it's own as a quality needle experience. There's definitely issues, some saves throw absolutely asinine jumps around like loose change and there's far more annoying bits, but I did enjoy my time with this game. The more spontaneous and "unhinged" style is interesting to me and the general concept behind the game does make it exciting to see how certain sections were interpreted and handled. As a sort of addendum, I find it funny this game and the original even are called FTFA-likes when they play almost nothing like that game, it's pretty silly.

I think anxkha is one of the best beginner needle makers out there but this is probably the release i enjoyed the least. It's impressive how interesting a lot of their needle is considering its difficutly, however I feel like this game didn't really do that and it felt a bit too reminiscent of wolfie's needle for my taste. Granted, this seems to just be a fun little side project game and i appreciate it's simplicity. So, nothing exceptional but hard to dislike.

The first two stages were good, I didn't really like the 3rd one, I don't like long saves, besides, some of the jumps were annoying and located in the middle or end of the screen. the 4th stage is my favorite, pretty nice jumps, although it looked difficult, but it was played quite simply, except for a few saves. The next stage was terrible, this is the worst part of the game, a huge number of awful and not funny jumps, spam of 16px, the save balance is just terrible... the last stage is poorly balanced.

short but enjoyable tower fangame. One thing it does better than most fangames is the amount of save points which wasn't more than necessary.

Short and sweet needle game to give us a taste of what King anxKha has been cooking, featuring a few cute nods to his peers throughout. As expected from anx, the movement is as smooth and fluid as you remember it, even with the length in mind you're bound to have fun and appreciate what's there. Great aesthetics and music picks if you're a Wolfi-head like me, and a good challenge for beginners who want some nice and easy trigger needle. Even for more experienced players this is a great way to kill the time.

Regardless, it gets a huge recommend from me and try to keep an eye out for this maker's incredible works!
