Christmas Deliveries 2 is an overall good Needleventure game as it's predecessor was, and consists of various stages each with their own theme, and most of them having a boss battle at the end. The visuals are spectacular and a highlight of the game, nearly everything seems to be hand drawn by GWiz, and so I can comfortably say that this is one of the best-looking fangames available on Delfruit.
Gameplay-wise, I had some mixed thoughts. A lot of the game held a very unique style of Needle to it, there was never any sense of generic design or over usage of jumps, and most of this is heightened by the inclusion of gimmicks. The bosses are all enjoyable as well, they're all pretty easy for the most part and won't cause a struggle for anyone who mainly plays needle. One of the later stages is particularly interesting because they allow you to pick between gimmicks on each screen. With this said, I do want to mention some of the grievances I had with the game. First of all, the game is pretty damn hard, way more than what I expected. The last two stages are particularly brutal, mainly because of a teleporting line gimmick that makes each save last forever. If this wasn't in the game, I honestly think the game would be almost -10 difficulty overall, and frankly, it really was not fun to do. Another main issue I had was how almost every trigger also basically turned into a forced speed segment, so a lot of times you're just playing saves to each trigger and dying immediately, would be fine with it if there wasn't such an over usage in nearly every stage. On a side note, sometimes it's hard to check what triggers do since the screen turns black after you die, which is pretty undesirable.
These issues aside, I think the game was a lovely Christmas present to the community, and once again a visual masterpiece. Just know that it gets pretty hard near the end of the game, and continues to be so till the credits roll. You'll certainly want decent needle skills to open this present, but if you have them then I definitely recommend it.
