An amazing tribute to the original Good Hentai trilogy and the late Alfred Wegener, I wanna be the Good Hentai EX is a masterpiece in erotic ludology that will stand for many years to come. In addition to the attractive anime ladies the original trilogy is known for, EX introduces a narrative to the game: the journey of a sinful monarch. The monarch engages in his vices throughout his travels (with realistic blood oath mechanics), all to reach the end goal of satiating his lust for anime babes, but this alone is not enough, giving him only softcore visuals. In order to obtain what he truly desires, he must Endure 5 secret trials of various different tasks in order to collect emeralds which unlock the true ending. This is a metaphor showing that while we as human beings will naturally give in to our vices, it is only through working on ourselves and improving that we can achieve meaningful and lasting relationships. EX succeeds in not only in giving the player a diamond sword (in their pants) through erotic display, it also succeeds in relating the erotic to the human experience, allowing the player to metaphorically use said diamond sword to make a path for themselves in life.
This game changed my life and I couldn't recommend it enough, so much that a mere 10/10 does not do it justice and I hence will cease from giving this a rating at all.

This game is mostly just boring, however the last two bosses are boring AND annoying. The destination boss is so hard to hit with zero visual feedback if you are even making progress, and the final boss is a mega snoozefest so every death sucks so bad. Outside of that I didn't really enjoy anything else in the game, it's just not for me I guess. Super basic trap platforming which isn't offensive but just...nothing. Definitely not worth sludging through but I've played worse.
