Based on almost 100 % clear (i missed one achievement, but let's speak about this later). So, this adventure is weird. The entire premise is kinda mid - just long adventure with big focus on traps, some bosses that are decently varied, but nothing fantastic and so on, so on. That is surface
What beneaths under is quite suprising. This game for sure has straight highlights and lowpoints. So for the pros. This game has a big varied system of achievements. And they are not like useless, no no. They are very heavily change your perspective of playing the game, and that's what i appreciated the most. Most notorious examples are boss achievements - on some boss you need to not jump and clear for achievement. On another one - not using additional platforms. On another one - use only vines for one of the phase. And so on, and so on. Some other achievements requires fun luck stuff or some gBrain procedures like that apple room achievement or some secret keys enterings. It's really cool imo, this is exact reason that initially hooked me in the game. And after clearing i looking back and yeah, this was worth it. Some achievements here are really awesome and i'd like to see more of stuff like this in another adventures
Now for the not that great things. So i mentioned traps and yeah traps are quite big part of platforming in this game. Unfortunately, they are all sucks, lol. I'm usually not the first guy who will blame traps for giving me bad vibes, on another hand i'm usually defending traps, because smart usage of them are always got me in good way. Nooooooot here. Saves are overfilled with very generic traps, that are just never stops and ruining enjoyment hardly. This issue peaks in final stage, which is very fucking long stage with a even more big amount of traps than before. I'm very rarely give up on looking up entirety of stage, but that was the case. Fuck traps in this game, bro
Gimmicks are also big part of experience. While some are really interesting and felt like they were executed pretty correctly - especially i wanna praise Post Garden stage with a lot of interesting stuff that includes apples, this was easily the peak of platforming in the game; but also shouthouts to Color World stages - they were huge as well. Others gimmicks tho felt awkward, like that strange teleportation gimmick, that i believe has some good potential, but the usage was debatable at best. VVVVVV stage gimmicks were slightly better, but also kinda like pretty mid, not really enjoyable and felt like a filler rather than a fullfilled experience
What about bosses, you will ask? Okay, so there's a thing. Since every boss in any% has achievement core, i can't confirmed how exactly good those bosses in casual playthrough, but imo they were all at least somewhat fun. Nothing fantastic as i said earlier, but they are doing their job okay-ish. The final boss is tricky and overall probably the best one, but also shoutouts to surprisingly fun variation of Device Miku. Achievements-wise some of those bosses were very wacky like second boss achievement, which is just luck basically, or really demonic set of achievements on final boss (i also didn't take here one missed achievement for fucking dying after clearing the boss - very useful experience), but since they were all pretty unique, it was very good for me
But not that good when were are speaking about freaking extra tho. Extra is wild here - it's boss rush that contains 5 bosses and then final infamous Slow Motion avoidance. Concept of extra is that every boss from here is taken from maker's other game. Quite good concept actually, but the bosses themself are... bruh. They are all very hard and all very far from being enjoyable:
-Squares is just ???. Very idiotic take on Destination boss with dumb mechanic where you can shoot only current color, which leads to fight being brutally overextended for no fucking good reason. I first tried it, and i still hate it, my attempt lasts ~18 minutes
-Singularity Miku is another overextended thing with awkward attacks, with second half being much harder than first half. Actually insane boss and very not fun as well
-Touhou boss was like the only close to good thing here. It's still unhealthy long boss, but at least it was quite enjoyable, despite some attacks can just easily destroy you sometimes and it has some learny attacks very late at the fight
-Double Kid avoidance was utter garbage. It's just exactly what it sounds like - you controlling two kids at the same time and the avoidance is just long 5 minutes pattern hell with very slow and boring pace and some occasionaly hard parts at the end, that feels out of place. Very bad
-Pigment is epitome of dumb design. Chasing strange orb, that always teleports between 4 rooms and constantly gets harder to chase with every hit, since he will produce more and more apples to destroy you. And since you can't see what happening in other rooms, you will just sit in one room eventually and waiting for him. Beautiful...
If you for some reason cleared all of those, you will face one final challenge. Slow Motion avoidance is 5 minutes long endurance with a lot of garbage RNG and hard patterns - classic bad design. Quite a shame honestly, since this avoidance definitely has some ideas and i can easily see it could be pretty good, but lack of balance and effort ruined it completely. At least you have shield to survive most bullshit situation once per attempt - this shield (activates on X) is gift for completing Inponico achievement (minigame based on final boss), where your highscore will equal amount of frames you can survive with it
So yeah, extra was pure clown-fiesta. And in general, as you can see, this game was total rollercoaster of emotions. Can i say i enjoyed it? Yes sometimes, and fucking no as well at some places. I definitely not recommending extra for anyone, but you can at least try any% with hunting achievements - if you has crush on this like i am, you can leave very satisfied overall. And for extra it's very little chance for some satisfaction here, so yeah, you was warned

Rating based on before the Promise Update, some of the balancing issues were probably addressed there.
A really fun avoidance, featuring the song "人マニア" by Haraguchi Sasuke. The boss takes some inspiration from the song, while doing so in a way that creates some interesting attacks. While interesting in concept, they are also fun to actually play, and are also at a lower difficulty for anyone that has trouble with avoidances.
My biggest complaint, though, has to be the lack of balancing on some attacks. Sometimes the RNG can simply be out for blood—case in point, the attacks that literally sees you collecting blood, as the asterisks can spawn in the absolute worst places for you to reach the quota. The costume attack is also annoying sometimes, as you're supposed to reach a safe spot at the top, but the problem is that cherries can still shoot in that safe spot, meaning you're not actually safe up there.
Other than that, great job! I'd recommend it if you're into weird avoidances like this, and are looking for something more middle-range in difficulty.
Sorry, but you'll have to try harder to get me to play Use Sextant, you can't get me that easily.

Good adventure. Has heart and some interesting ideas, has some flaws tho like awkward balance of saves or strange traps here and there. Bosses are all unique, but not necessarily fun for entire time. Avoidance at the end was really based tho, for how old it is it's hold up pretty well and has some charm. Overall, it was pretty decent

It's always nice to come across a short avoidance like this to remind yourself that you don't need the flashiest production out there, nor a proper grind, to enjoy one and have fun!
