7 nice stages full of bruh nothing, 1 really good sudoku stage that would be unfun in a blind playthrough but hilarious if you expect it, 1 stage of mediocre (if funny at times) beginner needle, a callback stage that's pretty fun (if somewhat too short and easy), 2 pretty fun avoidances and a great final boss. Unfortunately, the parts that aren't bruh nothing make it bad as a beginner recommendation, but due to the large amount of bruh nothing it's hard to recommend to an experienced player unless they wanna chill after doing a bunch of hard shit. If you find yourself in that position though, this game is a great way to cool down while also having some genuinely fun segments later on, and I'd recommend having it in reserve.

I think K3+ itself is good. I wanted this, too.
But this is not the way I wanted it.
Trap? Gimmick upgrade? Needle upgrade? Everything's fine.
But backtracking, I think it's a really bad idea.
This not only makes you feel stressed when playing games, but it can also make you feel sick about the game.
That's what my game did.
EX) conquer the reverse gravity, PTM
It even makes you feel KTH2's atmosphere when you play, instead of KTK3's atmosphere.
If you really want to make an upgrade version of KTK3, wouldn't it be normal to upgrade it by inheriting the atmosphere of the original version?
I think it will be a really good game if we fix this. The K3 Upgrade version itself is something we've always wanted.
Please don't just listen to people who appreciate this positively, but listen to the negative people more.
Considering future developments, we won't give you a rating yet.

If this review gets 100 likes I will make 5 more Kamilia 3 mods, since we obviously need more of that!!!
And now a super serious message to everyone who got offended or confused by this extremely unholy and website unfriendly review. The medley genre is stagnating for the past 2 years. With the exception of the smaller meme medley projects, all of that we are getting now is the edits or reimaginations of the already existing games. This project is basically a palette swapped K3 with each screen being buffed with additional spikes, moving objects and backtracks. This doesn't mean it's necessary bad and will probably be an enjoyable experience for ones seeking for more of Kamilia related content, but I so rather see people try to put the effort and make something independent from that series, trying to innovate the genre rather than sticking with Kamilia to the end of times. We don't get new medley projects often after all.

I wrote a joke review at first, but I think its worth trying to write something real.
Calling this a Happil clone greatly misunderstands what this game is trying to accomplish. This game is very much an investment. When k3 came out, it was designed to be one of the hardest fangames out there and even today is still a rather difficult game. K3 largely increased the skill ceiling of players. K3+ aims to largely function similarly in that aspect. Ultimately, please keep an open mind, and don't be so quick to judge this game just because it has "Kamilia" in the title.
In addition, changes to the screens aren't just backtracking xd or we added a corner or invert to make shit unfair and not worth playing. They add things that make more use of the screen or fundamentally change how the screen works. Yes, sometimes those include adding triggers that change the manuver you do, and yes they are learny. Sometimes the route of the screen is different, and yes it even can involve the accursed backtracking. Even still, you cannot call this uncreative or bland. It is a legitimate attempt to add interesting things to each screen of K3 and change how it works entirely.
Also, Kamilia 3 is not some sacred game that cannot be touched or altered. Nick got permission from the original authors to make this project, and this is very much a transformative experience, so I don't see an issue.
You can dislike this game on its own merits. I won't argue that you can't. But understand that this game is intended for expert players and to push the community skill ceiling forward. Plus, this is also only a demo, so please don't judge the game too harshly for content that isn't even in the game yet. Nick has shown a desire to change the game if it can be improved. Triggers and even backtracks are not inherently bad, especially if they actually add something to the save and aren't just there for filler.

7 stage needle game that is basically half fun and half not fun.
Imo stage 1,2 and 4 were alright but there were some really dumb jumps sprinkled in.
Stage 3 and 5 were really poorly designed and not fun.Stage 6 and 7 were really neat.
I guess I could maybe recommend it, but the game is pretty long and hard and does have some really ungood things that take away from the fun, but at least it ends on a high.
