Normal game rating would be like 2.5 and difficulty 10 or something. It's really easy and boring. That's why this is based on extra, which is better but only makes it a meh game.
Extra is way harder, and it has some interesting saves, but most of it is still really boring. There's also one save with a drop that I found quite annoying

Nice needle game with Venus style. Some screens were definitely more fun than others but I think overall, the needle was fine.
It uses touch saves, but they are well-placed. If you still dislike them, just press a key when you touch them. Same experience!

Really nice needle game just like destroy the mercury. This one is a bit harder. Just like that game, visuals are nice and the jumps are really cool. Difficulty might make it a bit more frustrating to die in this game, since it keeps the "one save per screen" style.

Hibikusuku is a trapventure game which utilizes humor and cleverly implemented gimmicks to excellent effect. The visuals are superb and match the excellent level design perfectly. The bosses too are quite good, though boasting too much health for my tastes (no matter how good a boss is, if it takes forever to kill, I'll get irritated with it).
I honestly don't have much to say about this game as despite the sheer goodness of Hibikusuku, it leaves me with little thoughts on the actual game itself; that is likely due to the relatively minuscule nature of the game, featuring only two stages both with bosses. With that said, both these stages (and bosses) are fairly lengthy, and due to the nature of a trapventure game, you won't breeze through each stage as quickly as you would other games of this stature. Therefore, you're still getting a lot of bang for your buck - and even if the game is short, that is no slight. these small trapventure romps are some of the more enjoyable fangame experiences. Sure, they don't match up to the titan-esque adventure or needle games like Ocean Princess or Crimson Needle 3, but that is not necessary. I Wanna Hibikusuku is a lovely little promenade through the mind of a brilliant creator, one who would do quite well doing whatever they liked, be it bite-sized trapventures or perhaps more hefty games; either way, I am truly excited to see what else they cook up.
