For: I wanna kill the Guy
Rating based on Version 0.52, as it is currently the most recent version avaiable.
I really loved this game. First off, there's a storyline, and it's an interesting storyline. The game is split into chapters, and you can feel the difference between each chapter. The visuals and musics are amazing, and fit very well together. In other words, everything is what it should be, nothing feels really out of place, and this is extremely rare in a fangame.
The platforming itself is also incredibly good. It's a mix of multiple puzzles, often involving one or more gimmicks. These puzzles require both, thinking and skill, neither of them being required in extreme amounts. The game reuses lots of gimmicks, but since they are reused into new puzzles, I don't really count it as a negative thing. Every save feels different, there are no fillers, and that is also very rare in a fangame.
The bosses and mini-bosses are also amazing. Pacman and Exoh are a great way to introduce the game, and warn the players about what awaits them. The Piranha Plant has a couple small glitches (Like becoming invisible during the transition between the first and the second phase, which can kill you by surprise when the platform you're standing at is destroyed out of nowhere), but it's still a good boss, although I still find it to be way too hard to be in Stage 2 (Lots of RNG and attacks coming from multiple directions. Second phase is also quite confusing). Making Curly Brace into an optional boss was a great choice, as she is very different from the other bosses in the game, and somewhat difficult on her own way. Boshy is by far my favorite boss in the game, with a great atmosphere, a great scenery and an epic fight with lots of pattern, mainly at the second phase. Big Boo can be confusing at its second phase (Took me a while to figure out how to damage him), but it's an interesting fight as well. And Geezer was surprisingly enjoyable, although the survival phase was unnecessarily long (50 seconds of the same attack over and over is a bit too much).
The game uses different physics from most fangames, but the physics are well-done, and the game adjusts well to them, there are no absurd maneuvers. The kid has a different jump animation as well.
There are two reasons for this game to not score a 10. The first one is simple, it's still a beta. I went through the whole Stage 2 wondering about what would the second boss be...And the game welcomes with a "Boss 2 Unfinished". This is just way too anticlimactic. And the second reason is the VVVVVV stage. Up until this point, the game was a slow-paced puzzle-platformer, with a bigger focus on the puzzles and a softer platforming. But when you reach the VVVVVV stage, the platforming becomes hell. It's at least five times more fast-paced than before, and not as puzzle-oriented as the previous stages, which wouldn't be too bad by itself, but just doesn't fit in a game that was slow-paced puzzle through four straight chapters.
That aside, it's definitely a worthy experience. Highly recommended.

Rating doesn't include secrets because they don't seem to add anything to the game, or to the difficulty at all.
Surprisingly hard fangame. There are 6 stages that can be played in any order, and once you clear all of them you'll unlock one more stage, which you must beat to finally unlock the last stage. The platforming isn't bad (Unfair, maybe), and there are some interesting gimmicks, but the same can't be said about the bosses. White Cherry is actually a bit creative, and could be a great boss with some changes. As it is now, it's just a RNG-heavy boss that is very annoyingly hard to damage. The three avoidances are extremely pattern-heavy, two of them being basically: "Let's just throw this safe spot here, see what happens". At least the last avoidance isn't bad (It's more confusing, indeed, but at least most of the safe spots are reasonable). The bird is quite simplistic compared to the other bosses, but at least that means that there's no way to really ruin it. The purple stage boss isn't really original, but it isn't bad either. And the Red Cherry is the kind of annoying boss that you just have to see by yourself (Just kidding, don't. Please, don't). The one boss that is actually interesting is the '11' boss, where you need to divide your attention between avoiding cherries and math, forming an 11 with the numbers on the top of the screen. It turns out that clicking the large '?' resets the numbers, which is not super intuitive, but erases the original issue I had with this boss, i.e. RNG.
It's one of these fangames ruined by some of its bosses. Which is quite sad. Wouldn't recommend.
