A wonderful introduction to butterfly-needle concepts and jump types without being overly strenuous in any one area. I did struggle a lot with the water section on the second screen, but I think that's because I assumed it wasn't refreshing water when it actually was. If anything, like many dono games, this runs the risk of potentially being too easy, but in that way, it was a super enjoyable experience for me, and a great potential first entry for anyone curious about the 'butterfly-like' genre without being talented or patient enough to surmount its usual difficulty barrier. Song was pretty boppin, but didn't necessarily give the feel of 'outer space mysticism' that would have accompanied the visuals and style. Either way, a fun little romp. The large screens felt more fun to me than the single jumps.

mixed bag for me. by what i remember, 11-15 were like a more precise generic funny needle (think uplanes, tas drops, dRoPpLaTfOrM) where you are allowed 10 deaths per screen and psuedo-saves throughout. 16-25 had cycle stuff, with 18 being particularly learny in the watch-a-vid-on-youtube way. 26-35 was less gimicky stuff, and i enjoyed. 41-45 was jump refresher cool stuff, my favorite area.

An amazing concept floor game that turns the entire genre on its head. While this game uses the "real music" the genre is best known for it also uses many unconventional design & aesthetic choices such as invisible floor numbers, heavy use of cycles with enemies that are kill-able, unashamed use of hard named jumps like 9 jumps and double diamonds and creative avoidances that creatively use platforming and shooting.
While most concept floor games are introspective in their message, fuckerball aims to analyze society itself. Throughout you can find messages of the fear of death represented by the skulls, the greed of society causing deaths represented by the generators that make said skulls, an avoidance that tells of the struggles to keep friends happy, a room of tanks that sends a strong anti-war message, and many more thought-provoking rooms await you in this intriguing adventure!
If you think fangames can be a medium for expressing meaningful art than I strongly urge checking out this masterpiece, Tesla really made a name for himself with this one.

Cute art-style and short but comfy adventure. There's a story to it that probably references something Japanese but even without really understanding it, I was able to enjoy it. Feel like it was a bit too short, but it's probably just faithful to the story of origin.
