The gm82 comes with this game, which is really cool, I just wish it was in it's own folder, because gm82's have a lot of folders used for assets, and when that's mixed with the game's own asset folders (data and save folder), it feels very unorganized.
The first screen is riddled with skips, ranging from tiny to huge, and also has a softlock. I assume the softlock is unintentional.
Softlock explanation:
There's this save where there's a spike wall before the next save, so you go to the right to get a white key and hit a trigger that gets rid of the spike wall, then you backtrack, get past the spike wall and get to the next save.
But the white key hole is at the end of the next save so if you take this save and reset, the spike wall comes back, you can't open the white key hole (since the white key doesn't save), and you're softlocked.
On the third screen the warp doesn't have a destination, so you can't progress.
The source comes with the game so I could fix it and get past, I'm just lazy and don't want to update gm8.2 and it's extensions.
Despite it's many flaws, I had a good time because it's easy and had a silly atmosphere.

It has an idea, but does a pretty poor job of implementing it and designing around it.
The gimmick is you randomly change physics - either lower/higher first/second jump, faster or slower, full jump only or whatever the case may be. The problem is many segments become impossible with disadvantageous physics at which point it just becomes a lot of standing around and waiting for it to happen.
The design in the individual stages is meh, with a bland spotlight stage in one, just kind of annoying design in general in another and 'riddles' in a third, almost exclusively leaning on the side of annoying rather than zany. The difficulty primarily comes from one extremely long segment with a lot of these problems.
Overall, if you like RNG there's some value here, but I generally do and found it pretty unenjoyable still. With some better platforming design, it could've gone a lot better.

Pretty fun trapventure game with pretty intense bosses.
Paces nicely and doesn't go overboard with the traps on any particular stage, which is great, and after the first stage it incorporates a simple yet interesting gimmick into each one. Most of the traps are somewhat generic but it keeps to the classics.
The bosses are quite elaborate too, which is enjoyable, though a little clowny at times.
Overall, its fun and solid with a nice peak at the end. Recommended if you're looking for a shorter trapventure style game with bosses.
