THE Fangame. What a ride it has been. This was my first ever fangame that I played and has since become one of my best clears. Over that playtime I felt the biggest horrible pains I have ever had, some of the most fun in any boss fight in any game I have ever played, and the most FUCKING ANNOYING BULLSHIT! This game is a very very mixed bag, some of it is abhorrent fucking garbage and some of it is absolutely phenomenal. The first half prior to boss rush is a ehh fangame with quite a lot of pretty damn tough platforming and some not too bad boss fights. Boss Rush onward is Boss Fight after Boss Fight after Hard Platforming and Boss Fight. Its non stop difficulty, but a good amount of it is actually really good. Boss Rush itself is fantastic, easily the best set of bosses the game has. Stage 5 has its good and horrible moments and M-Stage is terrible. And the Final Boss is... annoying. Half Good, Half Bad. Anyone who thinks about playing this game, don't, its not worth your time. But I still rate it highly because I somehow loved it despite its very obvious and evident flaws.

Well well well. What can I say? CN2 is a very well-made 100 Floor needle game with a lot of really good and very fun unique needle. The difficulty balancing for the most part is absolutely perfect, only straying around the 80s and above where it starts to get quite difficult. Floor 100 was surprisingly one of my favorite saves in the game, even though it was probably the second hardest behind 98 or 96. And the boss, normally, I hate bosses in needle games, but this one was really REALLY good and well put together. Probably one of the most unique and enjoyable Crimson bosses I have ever fought, if it weren't for the fact that I got excruciatingly unlucky I probably would have had a really amazing experience with it.

This game is a fucking masterpiece. Floor 31 is pretty much perfect in every way and I feel is the new standard when it comes to every needle game to come. Nearly every single screen in this game is incredible and well tested and it was a joy to play through, albeit I had the worst luck known to man on Floor 100.

Neon 3 has some of the best gimmicky needle out there. Its specific "Neon Style" needle has been perfected in this game and all of it is well thought out and creative. It never overstayed its welcome and kept everything amazing and fun the whole way through.
Not many fangames get me wishing for more needle than they already have like Neon 3 does.

Vandal is very fun, lighthearted, and creative needle at its finest. Wolfie really outdid himself in this one, making one of the best needle games of all time. Tons of unique gimmicks, great tilesets, and of course, great needle. Nothing else is needed to be said other than play this one.

Incredibly fun and challenging needle game with lots and lots of content. Although, the later parts of the game really brought the fun and excitement down to a halt at times due to the difficulty ramping up way too quick, and with the last stage's saves being as long as they are, the sheer difficulty combined with length made the end parts of this game a chore to do.

This game is so unique, it almost doesn't even qualify as a fangame anymore. The level of quality and production value in this fangame, as well as its super interesting and unique mechanics and ideas make this one superb game to play. The ability to pick up each stage fresh and get only what you feel comfortable with getting until you reach 700 coins for clear is amazing, and adds a layer of replayability that many fangames have. Going for 100% is incredibly satisfying as well, lots of fairly difficult levels with some pretty challenging platforming at times. Other than some minor nitpicks, specifically on some of the later levels for feeling either too out-of-place difficulty wise or some rather small choices on how to guide the player, this game is pretty much perfect. If Den released this game on steam right now, I would pay money for this. It's worth it for the sheer level of quality you are getting.
