In the current build of the game (version 4.3) it is impossible to play the game. You can connect with others (through a bit of brute forcing) however the appearance of other players does no more than add another pretty picture to look at in the gray starting room. The problem with it is that the other players actions don't translate over to your game, meaning it is impossible to interact in any way other than running around. The obvious fix is to make it so the other players shoot inputs and other functions are transferred over as well, in which at that point the game would instantly become playable. Until then, however, the game is impossible to beat and a disappointment for anyone looking to play with other people.

MattinJ has a remarkable talent for making adventure RPGs with exciting worlds, a consistent gameplay, great bosses (this game lacked a few) and a grinding system that brings the best of what fangames can offer. Soundtrack is excellent and shows he knows about the videogame genre (never was a fan of Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest, but I always admired its soundtrack).
This was made for the Shortventure contest of 2017, and I think that is it's greatest drawback. It's not a short adventure, but one you can see was limited in the extent of its possibilities in order to comply with a set of standard contest rules for a contest. These experiences demand to be at least as diverse as Reach the Moon, another one of the best adventure fangames.
Do not doubt for a second. With enough humor, adventure and action, this should bring along a great pair of hours.

Needle consisting of 2 stages. The first one is fine, some meh saves here and there but ok overall. The second one however is filled with incredibly obnoxious jumps that make it very unpleasant to play. The last room especially is unnecessary hard because of some jumps that break the flow of the room.
