If you do play this game and you want to have a decent time, I'd only play up to the high 80s. Past that and it devolves into levels where there's always 1 or 2 obnoxiously precise jumps. He tends to reuse the same uninspired maneuvers as well, like drop diagonals, or platform jumps where there's a block right above it.

Its a generally solid little needle game. The style feels a bit more fluid and modern than old needle games, though I haven't played Venus to really compare.
The concept, however, definitely has promise. I tend to personally find inspired design more interesting than the straight rips as commonly seen in Medleys, so the potential for more adaptations is cool (and hopefully deeper ones, since Venus is pretty one dimensional). Fangames are inspired by other games, and by each other, and getting to see what aspects of other games people hold dear is a cool way to acknowledge how far we've come over time.

A charming adventure game with a story to it. The platforming is more on the needlish side with a few gimmicks and is mostly fun to play, aside from a few segments which felt a little bit too "generic" with the jumps used, and some of the save points being placed in mid-air making it a bit annoying (in particular, the screen used in Cultured 2 where you could miss the save while dropping down). The bosses are mostly enjoyable too, though I wasn't a big fan of the toaster avoidance having a basically-nothing intro attack at the very start. The game is also pretty short and ends with no final chapter or boss which makes the ending feel a little... empty.

The presentation and music choice are top notch here. Definitely one of the best looking avoidances I have seen, it comes damn close to being Nogard or たつぬ-tier when it comes to visuals. The song goes really well with visuals and makes for a pretty memorable experience.
However, I just can't get myself to like this avoidance. Most RNG-attacks are dragged out too much when it comes to their difficulty, which makes certain parts tedious. Often times in avoidances you get far in just to die to one bullet while dodging the other bullets, which was really apparent here. There were also times where I couldn't dodge a thing because it show up way too fast even with quick reflexes, like the laser attack after the slow part of the song.
I feel like a lot of effort was put into this but it just came out to be a half-baked avoidance with the non-proper playtesting. At certain times it feels more like a 80 avoidance (one example I could give is the zigzag bullets after the spiral, why don't they disappear if they get outside of the screen?) than a 60. Like I said, the visuals are god damn awesome but the negatives overshadowed the positives for me.
Wouldn't really recommend.
