Cool needle game. Good gimmicks (With exceptions), good save placement and some funny surprises once in a while. I'm not really fond of the visuals, but on a second look, Yosniper is right, they fit in the game.
The best part is the game talking to you, though. It's so funny to see messages at the top of the screen such as...Nah, no spoilers. But some of them are really funny. Also, free align classes. Woohoo!
That being said, there are some annoying things in this game. Some screens give a vibe of "Why is this thing in the game?". I'm not even talking about the joke screens, I'm talking about poor design. Also, what nops said, many screens are only virtually good, and far from being actually enjoyable.
It's good and all, but I don't quite like it as much as everyone else (I actually used the word "Overrated" back in the day, kill me). Would still recommend, though, it's not a bad experience to play through.

I'll actually have to use the secrets in my rating, because I don't know if something within the game changes if you have Secrets. Sorry about that.
The platforming starts easy, but quickly gets hard. After some floors, the jumps start to get somewhat harder, and then you'll be introduced to some weird gimmicks that won't help you at all. Near the end, the save placement starts to become rather unforgiving.
The secrets make everything even worse. The jumps are even harder now, and the save placement doesn't help at all. At the end, you'll find harder versions of some of the previous screens, and these are horrible (Note that I say "horrible" as in "difficult", not "bad"). Even so, getting the secrets is too addicting and enjoyable. A great experience, if anything.
The bosses are also amazing on their own way. All of them are really creative, although the last boss didn't feel like a true Last Boss should be.
Overall, a good game, with great bosses and a solid difficulty curve.

Kamilia 3 is like two games connected together. The first 4 stages being one game, then the boss rush and everything after it being another.
The first 4 stages as a standalone game would be a pretty good game for someone seeking a challenge and to sharpen their skills. The game is very well produced and has some of the best music of any fangame. Some of the medley choices are questionable, and a lot of the buffs to the screens are uncreative by just adding corner jumps. The bosses are for the most part well made, look great, and feel rewarding to beat. Overall this first part of the game is probably worth a go if you are only interested in challenging yourself and ignoring some design choices with the medley.
Once you reach the boss rush, it's just not the same game anymore. The game just flies off he rails into a chain of over-the-top avoidances fights with hyper amounts of RNG that make winning them more of a test of patience over skill. Even some of the best players spend a hundred hours in a single one of them hoping to get lucky enough to get a dodgeable attack to let them win.
Your reward for spending hundreds of hours grinding these 4 avoidances is a series of mini games that have nothing to do with platforming that are horridly designed (Minesweeper / Simon Says), more avoidance, and the occasional sprinkling of platforming, which comes full bloom in the final stages which you will spend hours on looking at your screen rocking back and forth as a method of adding cheap difficulty.
If you stick with the first part of the game and walk away at the boss rush, you will have seen the best parts of the game in my opinion, and most likely the entire experiences will have increased your skill level a bit. After that it's just not possible to justify spending hundreds of hours grinding avoidances that under other circumstances wouldn't be tolerated by most rational thinking people.

Honestly, after replaying this and giving it some thought, my opinion of it changed quite a bit. It does have some interesting jumps, but for each interesting save, there are two incredibly boring ones. Repetitive jumps used in the same way over and over again, in a game that drags on for way too long. Sloppy difficulty curve. Plenty of saves with a single hard jump placed right at the end of them, after a handful of filler jumps. Annoying death sound. It's hard to say I liked it. At least the visuals and the music are nice, and the music doesn't restart.
It does have some interesting segments, but none of them is worth playing for. Wouldn't recommend.

Fun floor game with a questionable difficulty curve. The hardest floors are at the middle of the game, and the last bosses are easier than some of the early ones, WTF? Even so, it's still enjoyable.

One of my favourite needle games out there. A challenge for everyone since it starts out relatively difficult and ends extremely excruciatingly difficult. I don't expect to ever clear this game, but I had fun where I played to. Kale put forward his best efforts to create interesting spike jumps and level design that is unlike many other games. Must-play for needle fanatics.

Despite being unfinished, everything in the game was put together with love and compassion. I can't really complain about anything in this game because it's that good.

Popular racing game, in the same boat as churatch. It's a bit harder than churatch, and the bosses are more interesting (and well made).

This seems like a remake of his first game. He didn't do a very good job at it.

Your typical needle game 1 jump per save game. However, this game exceeded my expectations of those usually grindy needle games and surprised me with its decent design. The music is alright, it could get a little repetitive though. Some of the saves are very mean and challenging, but the others are relatively fair. Definitely one of the better needle game grinds.
