The finale of the Best Guy saga, and easily the farthest the series has come so far. While the Kid still lacks his ability to do anything other than a full jump, the new additions to his moveset more than make up for that. In this game, the Kid gains the ability to crouch to dodge attacks more easily, slide to traverse areas in a shorter amount of time, and shoot in any direction to attack foes from any angle. Speaking of weapons, the game also has 4 weapons for use right at the start, with no stupid RNG weapon mechanic involved whatsoever. The gameplay itself has also evolved from what it was in the previous games, to a run and gun style game, and the production value is much higher than ever before in the series.
All that being said, I really wanted to like this game a lot more than I did. The game's design isn't very well done in parts. For example, some parts of the game simply have way too many enemies crammed into one screen, resulting in some segments feeling far more frustrating than they should be. The bosses are flawed as well, sometimes giving the player unfavorable scenarios, such as making them react lightning fast to survive, or just walling them altogether. That's not to say none of the game was fun; it did have its fair share of enjoyable parts, it's just that these flaws hold the game back from its full potential.
The game wasn't as good as it should have been, but if you like this kind of stuff, I guess you could give it a try if you want.

My favorite kind of fangames is where I just go in completely blind, and it blows my mind by the end. -0.5 points though for requiring me to kill the yoshis. Why do you have to do that :(?

This started out average for the first three stages, then got frustrating around Geezer. Solgryn was such an atrocious boss. Though the final boss was okay for me.

Despite all the bull crap the game can give you with the traps and the RNG in the bosses. I oddly liked it in the end.
