Many times, you will see fangames being called "classics" left and right for being old and influential, even though they really don't hold up very well in the modern fangame landscape.
This game is far, far away from that.
In my book, this game is a masterpiece in terms of consistency needle, well deserving of all its acclaim. While short, and visually not very inspiring, the gameplay loop it presents, where you are presented with an imposing looking save, and gradually and noticeably gain consistency over each aspect of it, is done exceptionally well, and never fails to feel incredibly rewarding.
My only complaints with the game would be the relatively unbalanced difficulty (with screen 3 being way too easy and screen 4 being way too hard), but it really doesn't affect the overall experience.
Would totally reccomend.

A cute (really) short needle game which neatly explores some admittedly stock gimmicks while slightly expanding on their possibilities. For what it is, I like it, though it really is the olives before the salad in how it leaves you wanting for something more substantial. Good stuff!

All in all, as a big fan of the shmup genre, I really think it's cool when fangames cross over into that territory. This game however falls very short in that regard, which is a shame given that its the only thing the game is about.
Between not really being able to focus, your hitbox not being centered in the slightest (you can stand still during aimed attacks), your shot being laser focused to the point which if you aren't standing right under the boss you barely do any damage and the overall really lackluster attack patterns, I really don't see any reason to reccomend this game, it's just not very pleasant to play. I guess it's a cool experiment, but outside of that, bleh

Weird game where you combat against waves of solids
You can actually advance through the waves and reach the warp right at the start if you move just right, but I imagine it wasnt intended. Either way, its by far the most obvious solution to whats offered, so I thought I'd mention it

Tries to do the exact same thing as the original Good Hentai trilogy, but is just kinda worse in any way. In particular, it somehow manages to make the visibility issues those games had even worse, transparent tiles and spikes just dont mesh well with busy white backgrounds!
