Super inexperienced fangame player, have only been in the community for like, 2 years. Hardest clear is Morning Dew (regrettably after learning what Geo did). I mostly enjoy needle, but will touch gimmicks fangames sometimes.

It definitely feels weird clearing Freezemind before even knowing about the existence of Burnmind. I guess that's what being a relatively new fangamer does to you.
Anyways, like many other people have said, this game is not for everyone. If you hate gimmicks, and/or visual challenges, avoid this game at all costs. It was not made for people like you in mind and you will NOT enjoy it. With that being said, though, I absolutely loved every second of this game. Some of the stages, while yes, are just shader spam, more often than not they don't stick around for very long at all; which is what I also think this game does well: there are no random difficulty spikes which makes every stage fun to play. I was done with each stage in around 10-30 mins, making them good spots to quit the game and come back to as bite-sized pieces of gameplay.
I will say the final boss is very underwhelming though! Definitely expected the buildup to something a bit more. All in all, HIGHLY recommend for those seeking something different from your standard adventure, avoidance, or needle.

I Wanna Walk Out In The Morning Dew, is without a doubt, my longest grind and subsequently, the most special fangame I've ever played.
Each stage feels so carefully crafted, and it certainly paid off - the soundtrack, tileset, and needle - it all comes together perfectly, and it stays like this for the entirety of the game (the needle stages, I mean.)
However, I agree with two things - skip rocket once you get to it, or just stop playing. I chose to skip it, as I believed that the game had better stages past this, and I was right.
The other thing, is that this game is tainted by the creator. I was extremely far into Morning Dew before learning about the actions of Geo. I cannot recommend this game to anyone because of that, but if you do choose to play it, be aware that some may be uncomfortable with that.
