This is a fantastic gimmickless needle with a consistent aesthetic and a similar approach to difficulty. The game is only playable in hard mode (or above?) and as such has one save per screen. While a longer screen/sequence of jumps certainly requires more consistent execution, it does sometimes make it difficult to tell whether an individual jump is actually hard or if it's just being failed due to unfamiliarity. None of them jumps in this game felt particularly punishing, but some of them did feel intimidating being set at the end of a long sequence.
No real complaints at all. Highly recommended for any needle fans.

90% of the difficulty in this game came from readability issues and the ceiling/walls being death planes. The needle sections are fine-ish, but they underutilize the water gimmick, and the only means of difficulty adjustment is 'longer between saves'. A very frustrating experience with kind of decent needle baked in underneath.

A shiny and chill needle game. The aesthetic matches the level design well. I especially liked the broken spike lines in the later screens. Some difficulty inconsistency but that could be due to personal variability. Saves are mostly on the medium-length side, which can induce more of a challenge early on.
This was a really great game to learn more about the vocabulary of needle. It occurs to me that since fangames exist in a constantly undulating amorphous spectrum, someone could be as likely to play something like Kamilia 3 as their first game as something like this. There's no way to ensure that a player downloading your creation has the same learned abilities you do, and specifically, in regards to needle, there's at least a somewhat developed set of terminology for these tricks. This game, for example, taught me in several places how to use the full height of my first jump, how to negotiate a few simple planes and drop gates, as well as a few other subtle things that I'm not quite sure how to articulate. Every game someone plays forms one step in their journey to picking up this language in pieces, but it's a great game that allows the player to enter on their own terms, and, by virtue of the level design, assures them that what they're seeing is possible.

The needle portion of this hack was fun and quite challenging. The aesthetic is mystical and eye-catching without taking focus away from the platforming. Several specific jumps were particularly difficult, but the generous saves made it so none of the individual screens were too challenging.
I'm relatively new to fangames, and as such, almost completely new to the individual subgenres of games. I have played mostly needle games so far because they are what I've enjoyed the most, but also being a Touhou/Super Hexagon fan, I thought it would be good to check out a healthy selection of avoidance games too.
The patterns and aesthetics of the bullets/attacks are wonderful and fit the mystical theme. I feel like I've come to the conclusion through this game and several others, however, that avoidance in fangames is simply not for me. I don't enjoy the kid's moveset for navigating 2D space in the context of avoiding projectiles, and would much rather play Touhou or something else with a life/continue system instead. I feel that if lives/checkpoints were implemented in this avoidance it would be much more enjoyable. It is not too hard, but I don't enjoy the amount of wait time between attempts. Sorry.

A fun needle game with moderate challenge and a charming aesthetic. The music selection was calming and complemented the level design/gameplay well. Gimmickless except for one screen near the very end. I wasn't a fan of the gimmick, but it was definitely well implemented, and felt super satisfying to clear. Highly recommended for needle newcomers.
