L-needle with a great sense of delicate movement and shaped jumps that don't consist of typical patterns. There are very few tedious jumps overall, and only one of the classic stopping point "why is this jump so much harder than everything else" moments. Unlike the typical encounter, however, figuring this one out was actually really gratifying. It requires an align grab from a block next to a spike, two steps away, 4f 2f. Music is bouncy and tileset is typical if a little on the unpalatable side. Stands out as a great beginner L-game other than that one particular jump. Worth noting that there seem to be no required cancels but there are many places where they are quite handy.

This is one of few instances of me reviewing a game without finishing it. I don't know why this was in my 'to play' list other than it being needle and having a cool name.
It's not really clear to me what the main intent or focus of this game is. It's mostly generic needle with very clunky gimmick usage, including invisible trap triggers, light-speed moving spikes, and just an overall sense of unfinishedness or lack of polish. The quotes don't seem, to me, to connect meaningfully to the gameplay in any way, and every stage I encountered was less to my liking than the last. I quit when I got to the boost jump gimmick that gibbed me into a spike at light speed 10+ times in a row.
In general I'm not a fan of gimmicks in needle, so it's possible this type of game is just not for me. Even with that said, the needle that was untarnished by gimmicks I did not enjoy, and the way the gimmicks were implemented felt very straightforward and without nuance.
Would not recommend at present.

A fun short L-needle game with a soft blue piano aesthetic and good use of platforms and fruit throughout. One or two saves are trickier than the rest. Overall this felt possibly too easy/open to be an L-needle game but I still really enjoyed playing it.

Dono + 32px = yes. This game felt like an exploration of concepts and jump arrangements, with a bit of playful water usage thrown in here and there. The saves are quite short which was good for a baby like me. Wild to see that dono was making amazing needle even this far back.

A really fun albeit slightly repetitive exploration of 32px jump concepts, with notable focus on vine usage. There are a few really cool platform regrab usages, and most of the saves are quite short, not being more than four jumps at a time. The difficulty balance is a bit wonky, with some saves feeling completely free and one or two taking up the majority of the gameplay time. In particular there's a max vspeed platform grab that really hurt my hand. Overall this feels like a game that came from a fever dream because I'm pretty sure I don't remember playing it before yet the tileset and overall gameplay seem like they heavily inspired a ton of my early stuff. So maybe in a parallel universe I already played it. Or not.
Great fun, nice tileset, and a banging song that wears a bit after repeated plays.
