I have thrown it up for a while(and finally resumed by ce) when I saved incorrectly at a room, of which to get to the left room you need to obtain the green arrow at lower right corner of the room, and you need to run a HUGE round of rooms to arrive that corner. Unfortunately, after obtaining the green arrow I saved at the save isolated from that arrow's position by a platform and dead to a spike, which means I have to run that huge round AGAIN to get the green arrow. I don't know if there is another evil save like this, but I would recommend to think twice before shooting any save if you've seen it more than once, and the author should take much consideration to eliminate this type of saves which could destroy the player's efforts. (Note that the save file is protected by MD5 verification and very hard to hack, so the best way to protect your progress is creating the copy of save file regularly)
Despite of this, other parts are brilliant and it's still an excellent game overall.
(Current progress: 43.66%, seems no way to go)

Rating and Difficulty based on Humanity Mode up to world 4 Boss.
*Please Note*: Hard Mode will significantly increase the difficulty of platformings and make boss fights way longer while Easy Mode will greatly decrease the difficulty of the whole game. If it's your first time to try the game, TRY NOT to choose the Hard Mode.
Firstly, this game has many mechanism issues, I pick two of them here. The most annoying one is the judgment problem - the hitbox of player seems 2px bigger than it looks like and the hitbox of some spikes is at least 1px bigger, which could cause many confusing deaths and make players upset. Another important problem isthe save design, this is especially notable at the VVVVVV stage. You have to think twice before saving or else you might get a "dead save" because the saves will save your gravity state as well.(I have encountered this and finally modified the save file to resume it)
And back to the game itself, it can't be said creative nor enjoyable. For the former problem, most parts' design are taken from other classic games and lack of innovation, which makes the game a bit boring to proceed. As a beginner creator, this can be understandable, however, the latter issue cannot be ignored since it will fundamentally influence the quality of the game. The platforming designs have a common issue, they usually have one or more align perfect jumps/frame perfect jumps within a save, considering the judgment issue and different engine, it can be really tired to grind over them especially for long saves. That's why Hard Mode is not recommended because the save amount is half of Humanity Mode. As for bosses, although the difficulty is mostly based on it, I need to make it clear that the rating only represents the difficulty of DEFEATING the bosses. In fact, every boss has at least one instant-kill pattern and some have one or more very troublesome tracing patterns, RNGs are also a big obstacle to get over them. It means you will spend A LOT OF time on adapting to their patterns and find a "relatively" stable solution(for the Sonic boss, it seems that the second phase is purely based on luck, although it's attacks are predictable theoretically for TAS only). I don't think it's a wise choice to make bosses challengable in this way because it's boring and unfair for players.
Ultimately, as the maiden game of a creator, it's not completely a failed and unplayable work. However, I suggest beginner creators should try to start with easy games and experience them thoroughly, which can help figuring out where is not balanced and not suitable for fairly playing. An obvious thing I found in this game is the difficulty spans between four Difficulty Modes are too big which is uncommon for fangames. It will probably make desgin problems mentioned above can't be discovered at Easy Mode or some of Humanity Mode. Therefore it's also encouraged for the creator to try the game on the hardest mode if possible, or as hard as possible.
