Well... Now that I finally beat this game, I can finally say that I didn't really like it.
This is the most famous fangame on Android, and I must say it was enjoyable to play a fangame while lying in my bed. But in the end, it's really not good.
First of all, you cannot pick your order or which stages to go to. You HAVE to go in this order: Earth, Air, Water, Fire. This is really missed opportunity concidering you actually have a stage select. If you could pick any stage you want, and go to a final stage after beating all other stages (Like in Megaman), and all stages were about the same difficulty, would be much better.
Not to mention, there are these special abilities that you can activate for beating stages, like Air's infinite jump and Water's H2O/CO2 breathing gimmick (If you are underwater and are using CO2 to breathe, you will die after 5 seconds unless you switch in time). This was actually a great idea, and making it possible to pick your route would benefit you in future stages, which, of course, isn't the case.
Earth stage is... okay. But there are literally walls and spikes you can go through, and 2 screens are literally filled with moving platforms just spammed all over the place. Such bad design. Other than that though, nothing special.
First boss: He has 3 attacks, all pretty easy to dodge, decent amount of HP, actually a decent first boss.
Air stage... Remember how I talked about infinite jump? This stage doesn't even try to use its gimmick in a good way. You only use it to get past huge pits filled with spikes. Seriously? There are so many ways to design a stage around infinite jump, and many fangames did it, but this game didn't even try.
Also. Literally 18 screens out of 20 in this stage are the exact same screen which just changes a bit. In fact, only the right route changes a bit, left route is always the same with some diagonals and a corner. Shameful.
Second boss actually does a good use of infinite jumps, but it's only slightly harder than the first boss.
Now here comes my main problem. The developer of this game seems to have completely forgotten he gave you an infinite jump. Next stages were designed with no infinite jumping in mind, but you can still activate and abuse infinite jumps in them. I have no idea how he didn't realize this. Maybe he thought that most players would forget about infinite jumps, and those who would remember are free to abuse it? I have no idea.
There's not much to say about water stage. The dev threw some needle in there, I already mentioned its gimmick, and you can abuse infinite jump in many situations.
3rd boss is nothing special at this point. I actually forgot to mention you have a really fast autofire, so unless you're on a really high difficulty, bosses melt from your gun. All bosses.
Since I brought up difficulties: There are 4 difficulties: Eazy (with a Z), Normal, Hard and Impossible. They affect number of saves, bosses' HP, and Eazy has extra heart platforms.
Here's the thing: Each difficulty has its own savefile. Save 1 is forced to Eazy, save 2 is forced to Normal, etc. I seriously have no idea why it's like this.
Okay, 4th world, Fire world. This world just spams needle. Did I mention this game has a pretty different engine? Oh, I didn't? Well, it wasn't designed with needle in mind, so you will die a lot unexpectedly.
4th world just has 5 screens instead of 20 (thank god), and then you're greeted to the 4th boss...
Not. There is no 4th boss. The game is actually unfinished and it ends right before what I can assume to be the final boss, and if not, this was going to be preultimate boss.
Shameful.
I would only recommend this game if you want to play a fangame on Android. Then again, there are other mobile fangames you can check out, I heard some of them are better.
But fact is a fact: if it wasn't a mobile game, no one would care about it.

If I had both this game and the sequel with godmode, I'd actually rather play happil 1. While this game does have less production value, it has its own humor, actual fun parts, and, of course, doesn't force like 3 backtracks on every screen, unlike the sequel. If you have godmode version, which is easy to get as I'm writing this review, it's worth your time.
Without godmode though... No. Just no.
