After clearing the game, there is a select room, which is very helpful for someone like me who forgot to record or recorded the wrong material. The bosses are quite boring.

K3 Challenge Requirement: beat normally
No secret or additional content was discovered during the gameplay.
K1's boss battles have been significantly simplified. For instance, in the Geezer fight, once you reach the 50-second countdown phase, you don't need to repeat the previous stage. This also applies to Solgryn and Kamilia battles. Most boss attacks use fixed bullet patterns, which you can overcome by adapting to each wave's attack pattern and exploring effective movement strategies. Even the random bullet patterns are generally manageable. This approach makes boss fights less challenging overall.
There are three times in the game where you pilot gradius. During these sections, you only need to hold down the attack key (default is Z) to achieve rapid fire. No auxiliary tools for autofire are necessary. In fact, using such tools might be less effective than simply holding down the key.
This game features well-designed difficulty curves and boss fights, despite numerous bugs, and has potential for improvement if remastered. According to Kamilia in the story of K3 development, K1 is not actually first medley iw, so which one is the first? I am very curious.
Time was managed using K1 Any% autosplitter, with death count determined by checking specific frames automatically skipped at the game's start; the removal of save file selection might be due to technical reasons.

When I started replaying iw, I had previously looked for iw related to Yume Nikki. I didn't expect to find this one while progressing through the K3 challenge. This was the first iw I discovered that was related to Yume Nikki, though I later found out there were many others. Because this game is related to Yume Nikki, I really like it. Reveal SpoilerBoss2, the last stage, and the FB all feature elements related to Yume Nikki. Aside from that, I think the rest of the game is well-designed, although I didn't quite enjoy the gameplay of stage 1.

This game is generally not too challenging, except for the final bosses. The last two bosses rely somewhat on RNG, which can be frustrating. Final Boss is the most difficult part of the game, often limiting your move and requiring careful movement planning. Reveal SpoilerThe penultimate boss limits your jumping, and the third boss involves fighting against five-colored sprites, which I find to be the fairest and most challenging part of the game. If it weren’t for the FB, I would have rated it higher. I don't particularly recommend it unless you are attempting the K3 challenge.
