Very unique concept for a boss that requires some risk management. There's a bunch of mechanics that work really well together with each other and the arena's dynamic structure is making you constantly be and think on your feet. You can tell that each piece of this boss definitely has had some thought put behind it.
Do you wanna methodically strategize your way to the end or just go nuts and be more on the offensive? Up to you, both can get you the W.
Although, the latter one might be less viable for Nightmare difficulty. That shit is already nuts on its own with a bunch of cool new additions so you gotta bring back the sanity with some quick thinking and a few strats.
I would say this boss is definitely up there with some of my favorite bosses in all fangames.

One of the best fangames of all time!
It looks visually so incredibly phenomenal while constantly delivering really well designed platforming with it's uniquely themed stages.
Stage 3 may be a little rougher at some spots since the platform jumps are kind of awkward in this engine (turning around doesn't move you in the first frame). I personally didn't mind it too much though because it was still an interesting gimmick.
My favorite stage was for sure the black and white mirror pool gimmick stage.
Unfortunately, the shader in the final stage doesn't work as intended in Fullscreen so I had to change my monitor resolution to 800x600 to make it look acceptable for me but I guess that's what I get for being a filthy Fullscreener. lmao

Loved the gimmicks and even the regular non-gimmick needle (which is still the majority of the game) is probably the best I have ever played. So even though I wish there were more gimmicks, I can't exactly complain about when they were missing since it was still a ton of fun.
It's a very fantastic fascinating game that sticks in your mind for the rest of your life with its very memorable journey. For me that journey has been exceptionally positive. I could really immerse myself into this game with the vibe it had going on.
There were like one or two saves that weren't super good like the rest but I didn't exactly dislike those either and with the extreme length this game has that is a pretty huge accomplishment.

Hyper unique!
I loved every moment in it, the platforming is some fucking smart shit and the boss is in my Top 3 of fangame bosses now. I wish there were more bosses with creative concepts like this. Can't wait for the full game!
One last thing I gotta mention:
I don't usually like replaying fangames at all. It makes me frustrated that I take so long to beat something again when I was able to do it before (even if it takes less time) but Synthas somehow managed to make replaying really fun for me.
Once you beat a save you will have built up a lot of consistency to be able to rebeat it quite easily, it's not really designed around precision. The hard part is mostly just learning the saves and how to do them.
I still find the process of learning the saves a lot more fun but replaying it is still sick because you are just suddenly awesome at the game out of nowhere.
