I feel like there needs to be more beginner games with vines to teach them the ropes and act as a good practice/experimentation ground. This game does that pretty well.

5-stage needle game. I heard it had really fun water maneuvers so I played it. Stage 1 is literally just raw needle. Stage 2 introduces the water and maybe vines (though vines were definitely in stages 3-5). Stage 1 wasn't really interesting. Stage 2 wasn't much interesting but was serviceable excepting the double corner near the end of the stage. Like 95% of stages 3-5 were utterly fantastic. They're designed around water and vine maneuvers exclusively. There are no platform jumps or jump refreshers anywhere. I'm a big fan of the majority of the design in these stages. There were a few out-of-place precision jumps throughout the game though with the worst one being the dip into corner weave up into plane thing as the very last save of the game. There were also Reveal Spoilerslopes and catharsis water in stage 3 which were welcome. Yeah this leaves me in a weird spot where you have to play a bit to get to the good stuff and there are random precise jumps that break the flow of things. If the game was only stages 3-5 and had no random precision jumps it would be an immediate recommendation but with those things I'm not sure. I guess I would say that if you have a bit of patience the game is absolutely worth checking out. If you aren't then pass on it. Oh yeah I forgot to mention but I like the visuals and the song picks. Stage 1 and 2 visuals are kinda basic though.

I didn't realize how long 100 floors would take to get through lol. Visuals and music are all nice. The platforming for the most part is well-designed but I feel like starting in the 60's (could be sooner, I did take a hiatus in the middle of playing) there started being some awkward precise or semi-precise jumps that make a NOTICEABLE hit to the flow and enjoyability of the game. The worst offender being that one vine jump on the bottom of screen 67 like wtf is that?!?! So yeah I was generally totally enjoying myself from floors 1-59 and thought of this game as an easy recommendation. I started not enjoying myself as much from floors 60-90. Then, when the game hit floor 91 it went to feeling unimaginably easy in comparison (note: in comparison, not ACTUALLY easy) to floors 60-90 as it seemed to do away with the more precise jumps at that point. That made my opinion of the game go back up but then I hit floor 100. I didn't expect floor 100 to be such a POPOFF and it was easily my favorite part of the game and shot my opinion of the game up even more. Do I recommend this game? I'm not exactly sure. This isn't the first needle game I've played with some weirdly precise jumps thrown in the middle, but it is the first one that actually impacted my enjoyment of the game with them. I've heard such a thing is rather common and people typically just deal with it. I typically like to find needle games that I feel I would enjoy replaying and the weird jumps in this one make me feel averse to doing that here. I don't really want to recommend a game that took such weird hits to my enjoyment at random times to other people but if you're looking for some fangame needle that doesn't super push the line difficulty-wise to keep you occupied for a while this game is good for that. The game is sort of a mixed bag but technically speaking there are far more enjoyable saves than unenjoyable ones and I may just be focusing on the parts I disliked a bit too much. I would say this is ultimately up to you to try playing the game and judge for yourself. You could always quit as soon as you get to something you don't like. You're not obligated to finish a game. Reminder Floor 100 is a big popoff and my favorite part of the game and to some that may be an enticing thing to try the game out for but keep in mind this is still basically just a jtool game so don't expect anything SUPER fancy.

Great medley-themed-but-not-a-medley game. There's some adventure-y stuff, some needley stuff, some gimmicky stuff, bosses, avoidances. Lot of stuff here and it's mostly very good. I think this is a very good game for sort of getting your footing in playing rng-based avoidances. I feel like the whole sequential structure and having platforming to look forward to and whatever makes it motivating to keep going and most of the avoidances felt not that hard despite my relative lack of experience. The worst part of the game is the achievement hunting but if you just don't do that then you're good. There is one secret avoidance that might be worth fighting. It's probably the easiest one in the game so I don't see why not.
Great game. Absolutely recommended.
