Generic jumps, usually one per save. What more could you want?

Seriously though, I'm not a fan of visual gimmicks. I want to be able to see what I'm actually doing.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Let me preface this review with saying I enjoyed this game, and I enjoyed it quite a lot at that. All of the visuals were made from scratch in Adobe Illustrator, and even though I am quite biased towards vector graphics, they look amazing. Music selection was quite good as well. The needle was somewhat difficult without being frustrating, something that you cannot achieve easily. In addition, the game features a handy align button which shows any aligns you would need: perfect for those who do not know about aligns or those who do not want to be bothered.
However, the reason why this game is not rated a nine or ten by me is the bosses. You can skip all of them except the final boss (which I did enjoy quite a bit), but all of the stage bosses are filled with RNG, and I could not bother to finish them. Even though you can skip them, looking at the big picture, I believe that my rating is justified.
EDIT: 8.5/10 -> 7/10
The more and more I think about it, the more this game seems just okay. Looking at my original review, I was very much caught in the hype and being careful not to step on any toes with a fairly popular game...

I am very much in Sword's boat right now, so if you don't want to read what could be considered a rant, go somewhere else.
Most of the games that the screens came from were actually decent choices. However, many of the screens were nerfed to the point where they were boring. I understand how the game is supposed to be beginner-friendly, but that does not justify removing almost every single trap in the games that they came from. Not all traps are bad, as I like to say.
The next area that I would like to point out is Stage 4, which practically the entire stage is a single, long tower segment. In all honesty, this destroys the point of a medley, where if you don't like the style of platforming, it will change in the next screen.
In addition, I found the music to be quite annoying, even before it looped once. It is generally repetitive and annoying, and at times, I felt compelled to mute it.
My last criticism is the final boss, Biff. Like the rest of the game the boss is easy, but my main complaint comes from the fact that after every phase, a random screen and gimmick and gimmick is chosen. The problem with this is that some combinations are obviously harder or easier than other such as the Celebrate 100 screen with no gimmicks compared to the Conquer 100 Trials screen with the speed gimmick.
The game does have a couple things going for it, such as the humor and the production values, but these did not change the experience I had with it. All in all, I felt as if the game was severely rushed, which is the exact opposite of what happened; the game took forever to come out. There is more that I could get into, but I think you can understand where I am coming from. If you don't agree with me, that's good. It means you have an opinion. Don't let me ruin your enjoyment of this game.

Pretty fun game with a very easy on the eyes art style and fairly easy platforming. The bosses are the same: fairly easy and quite fun. Overall, it's an enjoyable and visually appealing game.
