Old adventure game with a unique charm to it.
I used to think the extra in this game was blocked off since it was never finished like many other games but based on other reviews noticed that's not the case.
You unlock extra by completing the main game with less than 100 deaths.
There is some platforming and also a shooty infinitejump touhou boss, but you only have to jump up on some of the attacks others you shoot spikes so its not a ton of jump spam which is nice. I thought it's pretty fun.
After extra is cleared there is also a boss rush mode where you do all the main game bosses and one more new one at the end. Difficulty of this thing is pretty hard to gauge, little bit of a clown fiesta but I had fun with it.
Rating based on what I believe to be 100%.

Needle and Avoidance game, I started playing this in like 2017 so I don't remember much about the needle, it was alright at the time, but I do have things to say about the avoidance, since it is where the majority of my playtime went. (about 30h)
The avoidance starts with a slow section with a focus on random curving bullets. After this there is a transition, as the song speeds up, at this part you have to react to a bunch of relatively fast rng attacks. This is probably my favorite part, it's engaging but usually not unfair.
After this comes the 'maximum speed' section of the avoidance, there are few but fast bullets and they are slightly curving which makes this quite hard to read for me. Usually at this part even like 2 or 3 bullets in the wrong spot are enough to overpower my reading and kill me. I would not call this particularly fun, but I did get better at it over the years, and I'm sure guy gamers with better fast bullet reading skill would have less trouble.
At this point there is a pattern attack which is basically what filtered me from clearing this for so long, it is too fast/dense for me to react and at the time there were no clear videos to check. You can stand in the bottom left corner and hug the wall.
After this attack there is still some fast rng left but it is more predictable than before in my opinion. Ending is luckily easy.
Overall I didn't dislike it, although the fast section was very frustrating and luck based for me.

It is a 100 floor needle game, similar to Crimson Needle 2. The level design was quite good imo. I heard stuff about this game that made me really scared about the late stuff, but it was not too bad after all, nothing pissed me off much (which is unusual for a long and hard needle game). Some jumps get easier with jump cancelling which is annoying, but overall I think this game is just fine.
I would recommend this to advanced needle players who like low-gimmick needle.

A medium length adventure game with a touhou theme. There are 5 stages you can do in any order and a final stage after that. The soundtrack is touhou music and the backgrounds are (mostly) touhou places remade in minecraft, which I thought was pretty cute.
The main gimmick of the game is dodging various projectiles while doing easy needle. Most of the time I absolutely despise gameplay like that, but not in this case. The rng parts never felt too unfair other than two saves in the final stage. There are a few dumb 'thing flies at you' traps in some saves, but it was bearable for me. It also has to be said that my experience may not have been so nice if I wasn't so into touhou.
The first five bosses aren't too hard, only real problems I had were with Byakuren's curvy laser spellcard not giving enough time to react to lasers coming from below, and Youmu's final generating walls.
The final boss is harder than the rest of the game combined imo, and the fight is more than 4 minutes long. The attacks are creative and engaging. I personally am really fond of the character chosen as final boss as well as their theme, so once again, other players might get more pissed off/bored than I did. Also the fight uses infinitejump, so that could also be a problem for some players.
I would recommend this to people who like touhou and old adventure games(it feels like one of those).
Keep in mind that if you don't care about touhou or the final boss character, your experience will be way worse than mine. (I realize I said this multiple times, I really mean it xD)

A 13 screen needle game consisting of regular needle, some vines and also water, doublejump water and catharsis water. Some screens have gravity flipping as well, but not too much.
The visuals are good imo and while the music felt out of place at first, it became very fitting and good once the game started getting hard. The music gave the game an eerie atmosphere similar to that of catharsis, and this really upped my overall experience and made the grindy saves tolerable.
As for the needle design, it starts off not too spectacular or special but some of the later screens are very well designed imo, screen 10 11 and 12 are among my favourite fangame screens of all time. Screen 12 especially really caught me off guard with the outstanding design, and I also enjoyed playing it despite usually hating gravity switching. The last screen has an interesting concept and is also pretty fun on the current version, and is not that hard.
What many would find problematic in this game is the volatile difficulty balance, but I think it should be bearable after all the nerfs. Don't expect the initial easy part to last long.
I would only recommend this to experienced needle players who are able to overlook the difficulty curve not being smooth and are also able to avoid getting pissed off by some grindier saves.
If you are like me though you will enjoy this game a ton even with its flaws.
Oh, and before I forget, try to not move after entering the second warp on screen 5 to avoid a transition death. It's the one with the vines at the top right and the warp inside a shuriken with a platform below it.
Last thing: If we overlook the testing problem, this is a very amazing first fangame imo.
