Hey, welcome to my profile, I've wanted to make a fangame for a while now; I've been part of this community since 2008 but I've pretty much always been a lurker, very little post history and it's on a different name anyways; if you've streamed IWBTG I've probably lurked your stream before.
Not as skilled as you may think.
I have played a wide array of fangames; my clear list isn't up to date. My favorite genres are Puzzle and Adventure. Don't like Avoidance. If you got any fangame recommendations please let me know.
Even though I have never done a fangame I still like to give my opinion on the games I play, even if they tend to be from a perspective of someone that's not as good or as knowledgeable of how fangames work.

Really short needle, seeing the screenshots you can probably tell how this one looks, blocks and spikes are semi-transparent so you can see the background lewd; this can make platforming sometimes annoying as you can't really see where you're going sometimes. There's isn't really anything really NSFW so don't expect Bewbs or puss out of this one. It's also very short: Around 10 rooms iirc, also only has 1 song. Overall I would only recommend if you're really bored and don't have much to do. It's a really short needle and an easy one on top of that so if you're new to needle games i guess you can give it a go.

Mobile fangame that's based on League of Legends, you go up the ranks from Bronze to Challenger, so it contains 6 levels and 6 bosses or it should but its unfinished as of now.
First of all, DON'T click the easiest difficulty unless you really wanna be bored. It adds help blocks which make the stage section irrelevant and doesn't affect the bosses enough to make a difference, so in the end it's like a boss rush of some sort, and oh boy let me tell you about those bosses. They're not fun nor original, they all feel the same (except for the first one). They throw stuff at you, then they charge at you, you gotta evade some hard projectiles then another charge and so on. They're boring and frustating as for example Tryndamere (5th boss) has all of these including some precise jumping through attacks.
As for level design, I would say it's uninspired/unoriginal and average, you got your usual cannon shenanigans and your obligatory VVVVVV stage (even if this is a game based on LoL). Nothing really hard but it's piss easy on easy (help blocks).
Music choice is pretty good and the graphics normally look good except for some exceptions.

Probably the most common fangame to see in medleys, this one is just 10 rooms of climbing vines. That's it. You probably expect more of it seeing as it's so important for the community but nope. it's just a meme game like "My Heart goes on". You should probably skip this one unless you wanna brag about how you beat 10 rooms of vines.

I Wanna Be The 4 Elements is a fangame that you can actually play on your phone! Other than that it's just another run of the mill fangame.
This fangame consists of 4 stages, each represents and element and each one will give you a power up that you can use later on the game. Each stage also contains a boss at the end of it. Now the problem with this fangame is that it's uninspired, i will take the air stage as an example of this, it's 15 or so rooms that are almost the same but with the jumps slightly changed so it gets harder. This is not good game design it's lackluster and boring to play. The graphics suck, there's not really a background ever except a single color and the blocks are just your usual fangame block painted so that it matches (see the screenshots). Music is also really bad and the bosses are terrible bullet sponges.
Also the game doesn't explain much, you enter the game you get a little introduction telling you what to do and then you see you got like 5 buttons at the top of your screen, (trying them out will probably tell you what they do but still).
Finally it's not even finished. It just ends AND you have to pay for it on IOS it seems reading the other reviews. Shameful.
I wouldn't even recommend this as a your bored on your phone because there's other fangames way better on phone.

If you're new to fangames then this is one you gotta play. It's such a pleasant experience and it's easy and short, perfect for people that are not really confident with their skills.
I wanna be the Little runner is composed of 4 short areas that are decent, a mini-boss (if you can call it that) and a final boss which feels satisfying and is actually good. There's really not much to say except the fact that it probably will take you 10-15 minutes to beat. Definitely recommend to beginners
