Needle game with a very creative twist. The map is built by your own movements! Making you replicate said movements almost perfectly. As someone already mentioned, this adds a lot of replay value to the whole experience. Short but enjoyable.

One rainy night, you find yourself unable to cross a seemingly endless row of spikes.
Extremely cute and fun gimmick needle game, needless to say the quality of this is very good for a first. You take control of a pink kid, who explores a park full of spikes and will encounter a variety of simple yet enjoyable gimmicks, being the star of these: the balloon! The balloon gimmick feels natural to an extent to use, especially with how dynamic its movement can become by the press of several keystrokes, it can sometimes get a little confusing but it doesn't take too long to learn its quirks. The needle itself doesn't become too strict even with the huge "advantage" this gimmick might seemingly give to the player right away, and the progression seems organic and it's just the right length.
The boss as a lot of people have mentioned, resembles a lot the final boss from I wanna be the Destination, it borrows the color scheme and structure of it and by design, it is quite lengthy. Evidently, it is way harder than the platforming, but it's mostly learning how every attack is performed. The final phase of the boss feels superfluous though.
The visuals and music used are possibly some of my favorites in a fangame, more than the individual themes picked it's rather how they blend together what makes the general aesthetic for this game so fresh and special.
I think it's pretty obvious by now, I highly recommend this game, it is truly a short but very sweet experience.

What could I say that hasn't been said yet? This is the definitive way to play I Wanna Be The Guy. Despite me wanting so eagerly to like the original version I just can't because of the issues that have been already mentioned both at the reviews for this game comparing it to the original and the original game multiple times.

Very cute and relaxing game to kill some time on, it's not something unforgettable but I don't think the game's intention was to be so anyway. The needle isn't too difficult or interesting, although it includes some skips to make the path a bit less linear.

This is definitely not something for everyone, but for me this is a criminally underrated game, truly a splendid experience of its own.
By this I don't mean it has top notch production value, unbelievable visuals, galaxy brain platforming or a super complex story, but it has a charm that emanates from its simplicity. Besides the occasional crash, it is a game that keeps its quality and personality all the way through and, I think, is what makes it stand out from a lot of fangames of this kind.
This game has some prompts/quizzes in Japanese, here are the answers for them for those who don't know the language:
Stage 3-4
Quiz answers: 3, 2, 4, 2, 1, 1, 2, 4, 3, 1
Boss answers: 4, 36, 365, your death count, 17
Stage 4-3
Door at the first half: 1999
Door at the second half: 6043
Yellow buttons at the end: ↑→↑←↓↓←
In order to get to the second half of the stage, you must read all signs except for the room with four doors. There is one sign that requires mouse input, the one with the question mark. If you did everything right, one of the doors becomes red, letting you continue when entering it.
Clock at Stage 5-2-2: 82976
