Pretty fun to turn your brain off and grind hundreds of screens in one session. There is a certain kind of enjoyment I get from these games that I can't get from anywhere else. It's like being in a trance where your head is completely emptied by the monotony of your actions but your body is still performing the needle do disallow you from going totally catatonic. It's not mindless enough to be as tedious as one million gate jumps but not demanding enough to shake you off from that hypnotizing state of existence. Hits a sweet spot that allows you to achieve ataraxia effortlessly and automatically. The game could be a thousand times longer and it would still not be long enough for what it achieves. Would recommend if you want to experience an altered state of consciousness without the means of any recreational substances.

Chill old needle game that feels pretty smooth and soothing to play. I particulary liked the pink section where most of the screens were iterations on one kind of jump utilised in different ways to make a room that doesn't feel repetitive despite the fact that every jump is technically the same. The save balancing could have used some work as there was one particular save in the green area that nearly doubled my death count, but the rest of the game went pretty smoothly. Would recommend if you like chill static needle with a few cool pathing sections.

I'm glad that Spinoza is getting representation in the fangame commune, however I cannot in good faith recommend this game as it seems to have skipped 2 important paragraphs from the second section "The Origin and The Nature of The Mind". This sadly robs the game of being the optimal way to engage with Spinoza's work. The game is pretty easy as there is not a whole lot of gameplay, but if I had to rate the difficulty of the book I would say about 70 is accurate. Would probably not recommend.

Fangame with a whole wide variety of gimmicks, most of which I have never seen in a fangame before. While the novelty of the game is commendable and the gimmicks work well for the most part, some of the gimmicks are definitely on the more frustrating side and feel a bit of a chore to work through. Even so, I would recommend the game for its ability to always keep things fresh and interesting by adding new gimmicks in every boss and stage and expanding upon them in creative ways.
