Mainly focused on bosses and I think it worked out pretty well. Also failed difficulty curve on Stage 3. Rest was okay.

I appreciate these kind of classic adventure games because the gimmicks are unique, and the boss attacks are also original as well. This doesn't always means the game is good, or fun at all, but it almost always shows the personality of the creator, so I always end up liking it. Especially in Mizudori's games.
On with the game, it mostly consists with boring platforming, and boring bosses. (mostly touhou based) It does have some ideas that is hard to see nowadays. But I personally wouldn't recommend this.
There are two versions, which is version 0.90 and 1.01. The latter one has an extra stage and extra boss which unlocks when you have all the secret items. (secret items also exists in 0.90) If you liked this game, give it a try, although version 1.01 downlod link has been vanished. (version 0.90 can be found on axfc.net)

Simply the best piece of art dagger has ever made. Wish it was longer. Highly recommended.

Rating based on 100% hard mode.
The needle is actually quite good although it's consisted of 100% 32px grid. But I wish the jumps had some more diversity because it gets repetitive in the latter stages. (A lot to be honest) Also, showing the pixel walls was a great touch.
The production value is through the roof, but most of it are decorations and does not improves the gameplay, but I really liked it, so lots of extra points for this. Highly recommended to advanced needle players.
