My favorite game from OccultCube so far, and one of the few games I wish were a little harder. Just a little. Overall it's a very fun jtool needle game with OccultCube's usual style: pathing needle with an "islands" layout, and lots of water and vines, with nice visuals and cutesy music. Also, remember to press R quickly after dying, or you'll get jumpscared by the default Guilty Gear game over jingle lol
Solid recommend for anyone who enjoys pathing needle, even beginners looking for a challenge - the saves are on the shorter side.

A 100 floor game based on the oldschool floor games minus the BS: themed stages capped by a boss on every 10th floor. Expect long segments and to be challenged on your endurance/consistency rather than being able to cancel jumps or have lightning-fast reflexes: most of the floors are one-screen saves, and the bosses/avoidances are of the slow and dense barrage variety.
The difficulty starts off easy and steadily trends upward, with a few floors past the 70s being notable difficulty spikes. The bosses are comparatively easier and a nice break from the long platforming saves. The visuals are pretty simple, mostly one tileset plus default spikes on a gradient background.
Overall I enjoyed the game, despite 100-floor games not being my favorite archetype. 128-Up does a good job not going overboard with the gimmicks, even the ones that are harder to use well, like conveyors or ice physics. Most of the saves, while long, were well balanced, so I didn't lose motivation to grind, even the ones that took me hours (looking at you floors 93 and 97). There's a couple saves with an awkward needle jump which didn't spark joy, and I wish the visuals were a bit more varied (some tiles felt too baroque and the gradient backgrounds got stale), but that didn't mar my enjoyment much, and I feel the satisfaction of having struggled with a fair number of challenging but fair long saves, and prevailed.
Would recommend to intermediate players with a fair bit of patience, or maybe retired veterans looking to de-rust.

Short and sweet, a good recommendation for beginners. The boss is rather bland, but the needle is good, the last stage in particular has very good trigger usage.

One of the things I enjoy about dotkid needle is how you're able to pull off all sorts of scary looking jumps and feel like you're better at needle than you actually are, and I think I could say that about the whole game and most of Nader's needle: scary and a bit claustrophobic at first sight, but smooth and satisfying to clear. Okay, maybe some of the gravity saves are a bit cramped, and there's a couple saves here and there with an annoying first jump (not that I'm free of sin...) My favorite stage is definitely the shoot refresher stage, I love shoot gimmicks, but all stages were uniformly good.
I can't say much on whether the CN3 floor 31 homage hits the right notes, since I haven't played CN3 myself, but in hindsight that might be a good thing, since I went into it with no preconceptions and enjoyed it. As the saying goes, comparison is the death of joy!
Overall a terrific gimmick needle game, highly recommended for any needle/gimmick enjoyers - don't be scared by the difficulty rating!

Mild flashing lights on the second yellow stage, but the visual challenge is otherwise not that annoying
I had a blast playing this, the needle is really satisfying, production value and atmosphere are cool, great bosses, and I loved almost every individual stage. I'm still a bit scared of one-screen saves, but the ones in Hell are the right length, neither too grindy nor a walking simulator. The one screen I didn't enjoy much is the cherry circle cannon screen, which starts with an air gate and felt like forced waiting before each jump, but the rest is excellent.
Highly recommended for all gimmick needle enjoyers!
