very very fun collab
left warp has the easiest needle and easiest boss, and serves as a nice warmup. nothing too special about this stage, but its fun nonetheless
middle warp has very cramped needle inside small rooms. very stutter-y and awkward but in a good way. the boss is by far the hardest of the 3 but is also the most fun in my opinion. If you know me at all I despise bosses and avoidances with a passion so it should say something that I love this boss enough that I wish the fight was longer and even harder. genuinely my favourite boss in any fangame, its a shame its so short.
right warp has the hardest needle by a large margin, and does not start off good. first screen is very fulljump heavy and one of the required jumps is not obvious (you full jump over a downspike very close to the top border of the screen, looks impossible but is actually completely free). screen 2 of this area is where it massively improves in quality. the needle design of this area is incredibly messy; everything is off grid , blocks are always placed alone and spike directions seem almost random. this gives it a very interesting feel where you have to trust your platforming instincts since every jump feels completely alien. it makes the area by far the most memorable needle area of the collab. The boss here is decently fun, only slightly harder than the left warp boss, but also shorter.
considering the short length of the game you should absolutely give this a try. It probably won't blow you away but its solid all around and probably deserves more attention than it has gotten.

every part of this game is terrible by today's standards
stage 1 has lots of off screen deaths and terrible layouts, along with a section where you need to backtrack after hitting a switch (the switch saves when you save, but only activates when on the same screen as it, so if you save at all on the way back you just undid progress youve made).
stage 2 is filled with uncreative and obnoxious traps with terrible visuals. has 2 really boring bosses that go on for way longer than needed.
stage 3 is some generic needle with more traps, repetitive screens, a few more offscreen death gimmicks, and general poor design. the boss here wouldnt be worth mentioning if it wasnt for that fact that being "just ok" is a high point of the game.
stage 4 has a lot of obnoxious gimmicks that feel horribly implemented and jank. did i mention theres still more generic traps?
lastly theres the avoidance. which is passable at best and is mostly very easy (and also hilariously off sync in certain sections), at least until the very last attack which is 10x harder than the rest of the fight. have fun sitting through 3 minutes of literally nothing each time you want to try that attack.
honestly the whole game is incredibly mediocre and not really worth playing unless you just really want to know why its so hyped up (like i did). the only thing the game really has going for it is its aesthetic (which is hampered by its very basic visuals anyways).
